    That makes sense, what grit sandpaper would you recommend using to clean up the surface? It's supposed to be warm this Wednesday so I was going to drain the coolant again and pull the thermostat to clean everything up.

    I've noticed that it really only leaks right after I drive, the truck sat for 3 days since Christmas Eve up until now and it hasn't leaked then. But today after driving to work it leaked a puddle in the lot once again.

    It hasn't overheated at all. And I couldn't tell because I noticed roughly 3-4 hours after it happened. I was at work so didn't have time to pop the hood and look.

    It rained overnight so hard to tell if coolant is leaking now since the pavement is wet, going to go off of the reservoir for now. Although it doesn't seem like it leaked at all last night, coolant levels were the same. If it is leaking it definitely had to have slowed down.

    Is the o-ring where the housing mates to the water pump? or where the thermostat goes into the housing? I have seen some posts saying there's an updated housing that doesn't have a space for an o-ring.

    It'll show full after the gas pump cuts off. I might do that soon to see how much the truck will take.

    I looked online and google says I've got a 26 gallon tank in my 02 Tahoe, however the pump says otherwise, after driving roughly 180 miles, using 3/4 of a tank, my tahoe only took 14 gallons. Which is pretty far off from what it should have taken. So how much gas do you guys usually take to fill up?

    I was looking for the coolant drain plug on my radiator, and found two sensors or something that are unplugged under the truck. Attached are the pictures of each one, black one was on the passenger side and the other was towards the driver side.

    Gotcha, I am planning on lifting with Z71 springs and keys for now, I saw some info saying the nivomat springs are the same as Z71? or is that not true?

    So if you have the ZW7 option and you want to alter suspension, you'd have to change out the shocks and springs completely or the spring rates will mess up any shocks that aren't the nivomat ones?
