Yep cruising down the highway at 90 it sounds just as quiet as factory inside. The sound is almost negligible. I kept the resonator as well. You can definitely hear it when you're outside of it though.
I was worried the 250 wouldn't be loud enough for me lol I just took a 5,000 mile trip in ours and it was great. No drone what so ever! Sounded awesome through the mountains too! Definitely got lots of looks! My fiance says people ask her about what exhaust is on it all the time
I put the race venom on my 6.2 with the resonator still in place. It sounds phenomenal! Super throaty at an idle, nice and loud under full throttle and quite as a mouse on the highway. Absolutely best sounding muffler I've heard on one of these yet. I'll try to get some video up today.
I ran a Flowmaster on my 5.3 suburban and it droned so bad I couldn't drive more than 20 miles lol my fiance would kill me if her denali had a drone. She wants the sound just no drone. I just can't decide which way to go. The MagnaFlows just don't sound quite like I want.
Which did you use? Side/center or center/center? My fiance won't be home until later for me to look at it. I finally found the sound I've been looking for. Thanks for posting!
Thanks guys. I planned on doing the intake, exhaust, plugs and wires before the tunes. I'm well versed in the diesel stuff but this gas motor is alien to me. I've read about the black bear tunes and that's probably the route I'm going. I run Efi live on my duramax. It's the same software isn't it?
