Well I just picked up the 2nd fob and key. I asked the locksmith who programmed it to my ESV to show me how to do the setting of driver 1 & 2, but he said it was all via the CUE system. Wow, I'd hope what I think you are saying is not true. Many cars have the preset programming for drivers 1 & 2 correspond to a specific fob to where when the car is disarmed by a particular fob, all the settings automatically go to the corresponding driver. So if you saying the fob just...- Vector

How does that hold up in court if the cars from neighboring states do not require such things? Heck CA could go hog wild by nailing anyone without a dozen emissions requirements on out of state cars, much less a front plate. -

Indeed, and siphoning is the small issue. All it would take to ruin your car would be some punk pouring something into your fuel system that would damage your engine. I cannot understand how such an obvious oversight could occur for the elite SUV they charge upwards of $90k for. -

87 octane vs 91 octane
Well I just checked and Costco premium is 93 octane and is $2.84 per gallon. While certainly more than the 87 octane regular at $2.46 pg, at least it is $0.15 - 0.20 per gallon cheaper than what most premium is going for in S. Best aftermarket alarm for the most stolen vehicle on the road.
That is a good point about the range of the proximity sensor on a large SUV. I wonder if more than one can be tied into the system.
