You replace the stock springs for z71 springs. You can use spacers for additional lift but I would recommend against it because you would have to crank your keys so much that there will not be much suspension down travel in the front end to level the truck. Fender heights for my Tahoe with z71...
Might try that. I used some black trim dye on the bumpers but I am concerned about it holding up on the running boards. Also might use it as an excuse to buy some black powder coated tube steps!
They're cheap MOTO FAB keys off amazon (1"-2.5" I believe). The bolts on the keys are in roughly the same as they were from the factory. I didn't count turns. Its a little stiffer but that's with the bars cranked and MUCH stiffer tires. Overall I'm still happy with the ride. Haven't done shocks...

Next is going to be doing something with the running boards. I like having them, but the factory plastic ones are faded and look terrible.
