    As with every newly acquired vehicle,.. I will be dropping the trans pan and changing out the fluid and filter,.. I like to do the flush method of removing tranny line and run till air bubbles, then drop pan and filter,.. reassemble, then ad fluid and run till fluid runs clean out of line...

    Got it fixed,... think it was secondary positive cable on battery,...odd though because truck would start fine! ..which is usually the largest draw,.. go figure.?

    Just came back in and no,.. harness was fine. I tried moving seat in every direction, no change, "punched" the seat bc I heard that the seat heater may have been the cause,..no avail,.. started pulling fuses and did a full removal and re-connect on all battery cables.... success!     Success!... Unplugged the micro jack, left the blue/yellow conected,..all functions are good. My micro jack came w a rubber boot so no tape needed. Thank you for the help.

    its an 04' Z71 Tahoe w/130k miles,..I am not the original owner,..this vehicle is newly acquired and the oil pressure has been like this since I bought it,... I dont suspect any real problems but was curious as to why so low compared to all my previous GMT's

    In the 'safe' zone . My experience with many SBC's is 40psi at idle,..60psi at rpm. .

    Strip LED's would make life a lot simpler,.. I have experienced working w/them on my boat, along with all the splice connectors ect,...they are pretty simple to work with,..no soldering if you use the connectors...

    I see,..well my gauge is reading 25psi at idle and up to 40 upon eccel. Torque app does not read oil pressure meaning that it is not one of the readable perimeters from the pcm.

    So im really NOT a big fan of LED's everywhere,..although I do like the look they provide in the dash cluster,...so is it a big PITA to install cluster LED's?,.. are there diodes and soldering involved with relays and all that BS that goes along with led's ??? :eek:

    New rotors and pads on the rear,..got rid of the annoying brake pulsation i was getting, sprayed the under carriage with fluid film,....and installed the Kenwood DDX395 head unit...very productive day.
