    It piggybacks your xm harness, if you don't have xm, there is a harness that goes between your head unit and factory harness. It's a really cool cheap alternative to a more expensive type of unit.

    Too many issues

    Try running a hose over the sunroof while sitting in it, to see if you can see a leak, maybe the onstar antenna or xm antenna is leaking too. I'm outta suggestions though, those are the onl places I can think of that may leak water.

    Check the seal around your sunroof glass, you may have to adjust the glass panel. I don't know what else to check.

    Cool, that should take care of the water problem. Im not to sure about the rear door sensor though. But the sensor/ door problem may be why your alarm was going off, though.

    I'm assuming your brother is going to upgrade the internals, too. I'd did that when I did my trans and parts cost upwards of $500, with the front and rear planetaries, and the beast sunshell, plus rebuild kit. Get the 5 pinion planetary for the input side, and check out the shift re programming...

    The kit I got was from The seller looneytune2001. They Come as a kit, with glue and all instructions you need. I took a quick look and didn't see a kit on their estore. You may be able to contact them to see if they have something to use, or even cross over for your sub.

    If I remember correctly, the one I have came with two harnesses, I can check and get back to you. And if you are interested in this unit, I still have the original package and instructions for the kit.
