Did the TB 2 months back. I did install a K&N intake about 5 months ago though....I guess it's about time for the MAF to start acting up...:boxed:- Mr45

Well, I've driven the truck around town a bit after I got done working today, and it's still doing it. Guess I'll be cleaning the MAF and changing the plugs tomorrow.- Mr45

So...went to fill up last night, and found my gas-cap very loose. Filled up, tightened cap, and now she starts like she used to.... :boxed: Could it be??? Low on fuel, gas cap loose, messing with the fuel pressure?- Mr45

Well...I'm going to change the plugs this weekend, and try to keep at least half a tank in there. Not a bad idea in hurricane season anyway... Any recommendations on spark plugs?- Mr45

Aaarghh!
Broke the tuning knob from my '01 Tahoe factory head unit. Somehow it came off, and the helpful hand from the passenger seat managed to break the tabs on the inside when jamming it back on there... Women....:emotions34: Where can I find a replacement?- Mr45

Nope. Lights still work as they're supposed to. Power switches the lamp on, and ground (or taking away of the ground over the yellow wire) turns 'em of when Hi's are switched on. -

My Tahoe is not a racecar. Back in the day when my daily driver was a 240hp MG B GT I took on anything and everything. That damn thing was a fast as all hell beat up looking sleeper.- Mr45

2001 4 hi mod
I messed around with it for a while, and ended up cutting and re-grounding the (bulb-side) of the yellow wire behind each headlight. 01 Tahoe as well. -

Just curious, but why would you have police strobes installed in a non-police vehicle? -

That's what I did. Re-ground the yellow wires behind my lows. -

Yup. Got the guns covered... I'm in Sarasota County. Perhaps it can be in the TYF calender, for being different from a lot of Tahoes on here... ;-) (I could take some pics with some exotic rifle and some other gear...LOL ) Thanks for the compliments, guys! -

And of course I installed it this weekend. The bumper is made by Go-Rhino, and they've been having some manufacturing issues, causing a major back-log on these things. Well, 6 weeks after ordering, it came in. Kit was short some hardware, and some pieces were drilled wrong/not drilled at...
