Coolant leaking from transmission cooler line

The leak is definitely coolant and coming from where the fitting screws into the radiator. Found out that the auto parts place around the corner carries just the fitting. May try to replace it with a new one and o-ring before ordering a new radiator.

Coolant leaking from transmission cooler line

I have a 2014 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.2 motor. I recently noticed that there's minor coolant leak/seep from the transmission cooler line, where it connects to the radiator side tank on the driver's side of the vehicle. Thinking of tightening the fitting where it connects to the radiator...

Gas pump keeps shutting off while filling

My 2009 had this issue. Replacing the vent valve (vents fumes through the charcoal cansister) fixed the issue. The part was less than $50 and took me less than an hour to install on a Yukon XL.

2008 Denali XL - 185K miles....when will the "big bill" come callin'?

Not sure how long the L9H was used, but yes the L9H is similar to the L92 (no AFM) however the L9H was flex fuel capable, whereas the L92 wasn't.

2008 Denali XL - 185K miles....when will the "big bill" come callin'?

    L92 is 6.2l motor w/out AFM. L94 is 6.2l motor w/AFM. L94 started in model year 2010.

Mystery Device Found in Engine Bay

Yep, those were used quite a bit on the Detroit Diesel generators that I worked on for a time, in another life.

2008 Denali XL - 185K miles....when will the "big bill" come callin'?

I recently traded my '09 Denali for a '14. Same trim and color, except the '09 wasn't an AFM motor. Nothing wrong with the '09 just a little bit of body rust from winters here in PA/OH. If I had more room in the garage I would have kept the old girl as a back up vehicle. 100% reliable...

Think I'm trading Yukon Denali for Navigator.

I owned a red '68 Coupe DeVille with white vinyl top and black cloth/leather interior for several years. As a 20-something with small kids it proved to be a great family car, as I could easily fit 6 in the car and plenty of room in the trunk for groceries, a full size spare & jack kit + Hoffa...

    New guy DRL question

Amen to that. While I like the newer body styles and the conveniences they offer, I sure do miss my '99 and '03 when it comes to change headlight/DRL bulbs.

    A/C Belt 10 Hoe

I'm liking the idea of installing a tensioner bracket from a pre-'10 model. Is it as easy as buying a pre-2010 tensioner bracket and associated belt?

Looking into buying a used Yukon Denali XL, need input.

Seems the old saying 'you reap what you sow' is still pretty much on target.

How to change a tail light bulb on 2012 Yukon Deneli

BTW, you can replace headlights without removing the front bumper. Not as easy as previous generations but still manageable.

    Tahoe powerstop installing soon...

I installed a Powerstop rotor/pad kit last weekend in my '14 Yukon XL Denali. Took about an hour, taking my time. Brakes are better now, but still a bit softer than my '09 Yukon XL Denali for some reason.

Headlight (s) not working check out what I found

One of the headlights on my 2014 Yukon wasn't working. Here's what I found when I investigated the issue, pretty sure these are factory sockets. The other headlight was just as bad

    New Owner Question

I also have 2 phones for the same reason as the OP. My personal cell is forwarded to my work phone. You can pair both to your vehicle, however only 1 is connected at a time. I haven't tried this, but I believe you can connect one phone via the cable and use apple play (for music or Nav) and...

    TPMS relearn on 2014 Denali

    TPMS relearn on 2014 Denali

I've read a few threads on performing the relearn on 2014 Suburban/Yukons. Didn't see a lot of posts, so I thought I'd share my experience. Had tires rotated during a recent oil change. One tire has a slow leak (I believe it is the the valve stem) which I have not fixed yet. So the next day...

    Hate my Denali

I'm on my 4th Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon and love them all. Granted I do not buy first year of a any new model. When I was looking to replace my '09 Denali I saw several '15s that were priced right. However I stuck with my personal principle of not buy first model year and picked up a really low...

Forget HIDs, I just want my headlights to work

The hack wiring job was done with at the relay/fuse box to provide power (via the switched leg of the relay) to fogs when high beam relay was engaged. The power leads to the lights were not physically modified, as a far as I can tell. Good thought, as I have no idea if running both high...

Forget HIDs, I just want my headlights to work

Thanks for the feedback. You're correct the Yukon uses a single bulb (H13) for both the high/low beams, so I can pretty much rule out incorrect bulb wattage. Guess I need to start looking at the wiring diagram to see where the grounds are for this beast. Thanks again for the comments!

Forget HIDs, I just want my headlights to work

When I purchased by 2014 Yukon Denali (used) I noticed that someone had hotwired the fog lights to the high beams, essentially forcing the fogs to be available regardless if hi/low beams were active. One day I woke up to a dead battery, as the hack wiring job had jiggled a bit and forced the...

    valve cover

If you're capable of replacing the head yourself, you should be able to complete the job in a day, 2 max. There are tons of these motors around, so finding a used head in good condition (or a re manufactured one) should be easy and relatively cheap. Material costs are pretty minimal, so I'd...
