Recently bought an '03 Yuk XL - Service 4WD
Had similar issues with my 2004 GMC Yukon XL 2500. Did not show any DTC's on my Snap-On Solus scanner. Started with the cheapest, most likely culprit, the encoder ring and was successful. Mine would actually shift itself into 4 Low at a fuel stop after driving for a while! Fairly easy job to...- waveryd

2014 PPV Seat Position Sensor wiring diagrams or Hack
I just purchased a 2014 PPV that has the same issue. Previous owner changed the seats with seats from an older vehicle (maybe a Denali as it appears that the console came from a Denali). If you come up with anything please post. It will be a couple of weeks before I can tear into mine. Good luck.- waveryd
