I had an issue like that soon as I hit uneven road or even a small pothole .. my steering wheel would shake like crazy until I slowed down… it was a bend in the rim .. not a crazy bend but it was enuff to put it all over the road I used some wood and hammered it as strait as I could and swapped...
I have eibach springs .. Iv used bilstien they were the best ride .. along with basically same setup u have .. 2 in drop spindles and adj keys in front
My 02 Escalade 5.3 2 wheel drive was stolen and recovered 8 days later !!! Huge mess anyway ….when I got it back they blew a bunch of fuses from them cutting all wires for car audio and door speakers .. broke a lot of the door switches along with all 4 door panels … killed the battery … now I...
Correct but he can only wire it to one channel of the amp … so it’s only gonna be 75 watts going to the sub bridged he can’t the amp will get hot and shut off as it would be a 2ohm load going into a 4ohm bridged … being a class a/b amp even if u turned the gain down and bridged it the amp is...
But u won’t be able to get 4 ohm out of that speaker unless U bought another of the same exact speaker .. then u could wire it series/ parallel and u would have a 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel will give u a 2 ohm load aslong as there 4 ohm voice coils and think they are as u said either 2 or 8ohm …
Are u sure the amp won’t do 2 ohm bridged
I also have a 02 .5.3 Escalade I had lean bank one .. slight rough idle but no smell .. changed the 02 sensors still had the issue … decided to sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and sure Enuff it was leaking … changed it out and I was good …deff could be sometime if vacuum leak
Blown and frozen rod didn’t move at all …and no it wasn’t sitting at all I drive it daily a lot more sometimes 1000 -1200 miles weekly depending on we’re I’m working … this is the second time Iv had a Bilstein go bad on me …. I know 50k isn’t crazy mileage on them and yes standard 4600 s
So for anybody that was wondering it was a bad rear shock That caused the truck to lean to one side The rear driver side Bilstein was blown out and frozen replaced all 4 with new ones tho as they had 50k on them
I even told all these places that carry Bilstein that’s what’s on the truck and there telling me oh it’s lowered so it’s a special shock and I know it’s not just don’t know the part numbers
Need help in finding shocks for my 2002 5.3 2wd Escalade ..it has Bilsteins 4600 on it now from many of years ago .. anyway not sure of the part number on them I was open to buying even a cheaper brand if need be .. my prob is with the drop spindles and adj keys in the front and eibach...
Thanks !!! And yea the parking brake cable is the least of my worry’s the big lean is … it’s never been hooked up since I bought the truck .. I donno why it never was I never investigated it because it has 04 or 05 awd caliper swap on it Maybe that’s why it’s not Hooked up
Do those springs look normal ?? Look really compressed but they are eibach lowering springs I’ve been working crazy hours so I haven’t really been able to look but my buddy asked me to take a few pictures for him
Looking for a decent suspension shop in south jersey or Philadelphia anybody have any leads ? Having a issue with mine and don’t know how far I wanna dig into it as I don’t have the time right now as I’m commuting 180 miles a day for work
So now I’m so confused maybe it is leaning to the passenger side But that’s a huge difference Does anybody know how I can find the stock height of an 02 Escalade 2 Wheel Dr ? Just curious because then I can deduct the drop spindles and keys to see what the lower height would be
I’m try jacking it up this weekend amd take some measurements and really look around ..Besides the wobble I’ve been driving the truck almost a 1000 miles a week for work
