Denali 2022 vs. 2021????
GM service update number: N212353840 The GM lifter problems seem to be most prevalent in the L84 5.3-V-8 and L87 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engines with build dates between September 2020 and March 2021. (From GM Authority) Haven’t looked but i’m sure on this forum there’s info on it.- pa31p

Check GM Authority 2021 lifter issues. not a new issue for GM, 2021 seemed to be more prone (or GM received more media attention over it that year) Not a oil specialist myself but I think running 12000 miles on an oil change don’t help the issue. Many 5.3’s and 6.2’s have gone 200K miles...- pa31p

Chevy - are 2023 orders still getting retrofit options (heated seats, wheel, ventilated)?
My 2023 Yukon was build Aug 27 Seat bottom ventilator fan is missing,retrofit item. heated seats - has them 2 way lumbar support, 4 way was cancelled.. can not be retrofitted. Parking sensors - has them Could be worse. Ford has 40000 Superduty trucks stored in Kentucky (thats 2 billion worth...- pa31p

Denali 2022 vs. 2021????
Not to sound depressing, but if you buy 2021, specific serial numbers have issues with lifters almost guarranteed, check that before you buy so you know what you’re getting into. I do like the new cluster for sure! newer would more than likely have more warranty left.- pa31p

2023 Wagoneer L build and price up
Work for Stellantis. Bought a GMC Yukon. nuff said. Personally I think Yukon is more bang for the buck. There’s no “SLE” type offering on the wagoneer either. you’re into the $$$ right right away. The base wagoneer here is about $15K USD here over the base Yukon. Jeep overstepped their target...- pa31p

Spare tire - Access panel
Won’t let me post a video, but I found this plastic tool in my iphone repair kit. works perfect pops right out, as was suggested above by trying this , an interior tool would do it just fine. -
Spare tire - Access panel
Maybe this is a little much but.. The panel that you open up to lower the spare tire. I’m sure in a panic you’d be tempted to shuff a screw driver in that panel and crack it open. damaging the paint in the process… Anyone has a handy tip to remove that access panel without damaging the paint ? -
What is the best LED bulb for 2020 Tahoe LT?
In the past I have used Diode Dynamics and Sealight L2. both can rotate in the collar. excellent output in both. Sealight Laxmas L2 being the cheaper version but just as bright. FAR exceeds halogen output. Diode Dynamics USA company and warranty 3 years. they’re good for it. -

The Canyon Diesel is a great truck, Wanted a bigger tow rig. two things I did not like on Canyon. The seats suck, long trips… The height, with the step rails it’s “too low” to get in “normally” without them “to high” the 2.8L Diesel is a nice engine, towed a 4000lbs trailer with it. enough...- pa31p

Truck delivered to dealer!
Ultimate was stickered at $111K CDN , no markup. could have had preferred pricing on it. first stonechip I’d have a heart attack though, so passed on that one. biggest holdup locally as of Sept/2022 is a luxury tax. anything over $100K gets slapped with 10% on $100K and 20% on anything over...- pa31p

Thank you! I’m thinking the backlogs are starting to clear up. Found diesel and Denali Ultimate on the same lot for sale. we have a new luxury tax that started this month(over $100K) , it will slow the Ultimate sales to a halt for sure. adds $10K- pa31p

Truck delivered to dealer!
Not sure what the logic is on some of the long wait times, but I’ve seen locally in Ontario many dealer receiving unsold units, diesel, 5.3 and 6.2 just about any version. think the backlogs are clearing up. Just bought an SLT that was not pre-ordered, same dealer has an unsold Denali Ultimate...- pa31p

Hi All, just picked up 2023 Yukon 5.3L orderered 9/18 , delivered 9/21 Lol. Truck was built Aug 27, afternoon shift. Stopped in to order one, this one was unsold just being unloaded off the truck. employee preferred pricing, traded in a Canyon Diesel. Yukon drives flawless. work of art...- pa31p
