I am getting all of the parts together for a e-fan install on my 2003 Yukon XL Denali, and the most problematic part I am running in to is finding a place that can do the PCM flash. Is there anybody local with the tools that can help, or know of a shop that can do it?
thanks,
Jon
The rain put a damper on what I had planned, so I went through the front end, and lubed all of the zirks that I know of with Valvoline GM approved red MP lube. Refreshed the CV boots with Sil-Glyde, this stuff workd great on re-conditioning rubber. I would have used it on the ball joint boots...
Oh man! Talk about a score! I need to do the Electric fans since Sacramento can suck for stop and go traffic in the summer. I need to find somebody local that can flash my ECM for the fans.
Yeah, just not worth the hastle for the slight convenience. I won't be towing a trailer any time soon, so when the time comes I will just get some air helper springs if needed. I will keep the compressor, but bypass the autolevel system with manual controls.
I ended up putting in an amazon order for the Bilstein BE5-E380-HO Rears along with the 199020 springs and the BE5-6500-HO Fronts. My Jounce stops look a bit squished compared to the picture, and they have a slight wedge shape to them, So I will pick up some of those too.
Thanks!
Yeah, I am realizing now that they are crap shocks! Still feel like I am driving on jello. Wondering what I should get. I still want the auto level in the rear.
Did an oil and filter change, Installed the Monroe 90012 Electro to Passive shock kit, installed a new dorman air compressor for self leveling shocks.
Now I am trying to find a way to keep the self leveling rear shocks, but delete the RTD without cutting up my wiring harness to install the...
I will get some pictures soon, but for now you can just imagine a Stock looking 03 Yukon XL Denali in that Gold looking Pewter Metalic with a stone gray leather interior. I am still debating what to do to the exterior since I will be using this vehicle for my business mainly, and I will have to...
Yeah, by all of the research I have been doing as I crawl all over this thing definitly points to a 2003... Especially the AC with automatic control. Yeah the snowflake with a line through it when I press the AC button had me troubleshooting AC yesterday, but I was getting some crazy results...
Hi, The inner door sticker is bleached out from something on it... same with the underhood stickers. My guess is the "detailers" used something nasty. 10th digit in vin is 3. I will see if I can lift any latent image from the sticker
Installed a new head unit, ATOTO A6 Android system with a PAC RP5-GM11 adapter. Everything works great except steering wheel controls... Still need to figure this one out, but I think some previous threads along with other gm forum threads I stumbled upon should help.
Next on the list is shocks...
Hi everybody, I just purchased a used (obviously) 2004 (Docs say 2003) Yukon XL Denali for my business. I got a great deal on it, and overall it in great condition.... a few little issues ( rear auto level shocks blown, but no info on DIC), but nothing crazy since I can do all the work myself. I...
