Worth it to go from 3.73 to 4.11

Is that LQ9 a fresh assembly, or has it been in something else that you know the dyno numbers and powerband of? What throttle body size and header dimensions? That's not much lift for a ported manifold and heads. Those heads won't taper off in cfm until high .500 to .600" and with a good...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

You're also probably a full 2k pounds lighter in that thing hahah. That heads and cam combo matches up nicely, the 2.5 heads flow best right at that cams sweet spot. That'll be fun though!!

Another Lowered Denali and 1/4 Mile Data

It's a GPS logger called Dragy. Pretty cool little thing. Dead accurate at the track too. I'm an hour away from my local track, so it's nice to be able to see different ET breaks, MPH, and acceleration data without having to make the drive.

Another Lowered Denali and 1/4 Mile Data

So last night/early this morning I took the quick 15 minute drive to the same road in Mexico I visited earlier this year. Back in May it went 13.37@105mph, 8.63@81mph with a 2.09 60' and 844'DA. That was on stock suspension, stock gears, without front straps. Since then I've worked over the...

Yeah my mph is there, on both the 1/8 and 1/4. I'm thinking with the new converter and some more trans tuning and it can get there. You were also at like 300'DA that pass hahah.

I am so close to 12s I can taste it. I need to go to the track and log and tune. Losing a lot on both shifts, and you can really feel it too, they used to be nice and crisp. 1.87 60' 4.83 0-60 (It's been 4.81) 8.54 1/8 13.30@103 (It's been 105)

    Best valve springs?

That's wild. How many miles were on it when you had the spring failure? Just a lifetime of regular driving?

    Best valve springs?

I haven't heard much about valve springs failing, not saying it hasn't happened though. What is common however on those two engines are lifters. The AFM lifters as I'm sure you're already aware are notorious for failures. The 2012 will no doubt have them. The 07/08 L92s depending on when the...

12"x24" are $150, so that one would be $600. But I have 11 different sizes and two different mounting options ranging from $20 to $195. I did this one for my buddy you guys may recognize from Youtube/FB

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Well I guess not "to" the Yukon, but "of" the Yukon. I've been working on a little metal print website/sidebusiness since our hours at work had been cut back to 40 a week with this Covid nonsense. I needed product pictures for the site so I used this one of the Yukon to show off a multi-panel...

Another Lowered Denali and 1/4 Mile Data

Work as in physically fit, yes. Work as in take advantage of it and be beneficial, hard to say. The factory manifold is a pretty great piece when comparing peak numbers, and area under the curve, to aftermarket options. I went with this one knowing it will be turbo in the future, but I could...

I let him control his own passenger side settings Second owner of mine, they weren't too bad just the two fan speed buttons were worn. And I can tell 100% he drove like a Chad or Kyle based on the armrest and 12oclock steering wheel wear.

Speaking of terminal velocity, how well do you guys think off the shelf rear driveshafts would sell? 2wd, 4wd, 4l60, 6l80. Im going to have one made the next time I take a week off work. Mine is going to be stout stout, but they have very budget friendly options that would fit the need for the...

I know everyone likes dirty/clean before and afters. Took my time, and a few beers, on doing the valley cover gasket and oil pressure sensor yesterday and today. All back together and running now but I did remember snap an after picture.

    6.2 cam ideas

Then you're technically wasting your time asking for recommendations on a truck forum and not giving any details about what it's going in. You're on TahoeYukonforum.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Good old oil sensor replacement. The FAST manifold does not leave any more room than stock to get in there, but figured if I was chasing down a leak I may as well pull everything anyways. Had a leak around the brake booster vacuum line going into the manifold but the manifold is dry as can be on...

    6.2 swap thread

I like the project you have going on here! I can guarantee the long tube tick is not any better on these vehicles than it is any other. Im running Speed Engineering long tubes, catless true dual, xpipe, and dumps. Im almost always windows down though, but it ticks, it smells, it's loud. But I...

Final Gear Ratios -- Are You Hosed?

Cool chart. Data isn't really refined though, too generic. Shouldn't be anything else in that article other than "here's the revs per mile of this tire height with this rear gear".
