SEcond that. I was leaning toward more or less stock tires. Want to get good all weather running with good gas mileage. I was leaning toward a cooler tire (off road type) but not sure if it is worth it for truck that will not see much off road use... but they just look so much better. -

Resolved So Truck has been out in the rain. So far so good. It has stopped leaking inside passenger side. I have not yet fixed the vapor barrier and will do so once i get door panel apart. But need to replace the clip that window controls clip into. I hope to find the part at some point. or... -

My gas gauge that has been acting weird and moving to random locations, or not lining up with the gauge marks; but still sweeps to give a rough idea of how much fuel i have left. My issue was that it was blowing but it was always cold. so blend door was closed. The heater core was getting hot, but it was not getting through to the ducts. Removing rear quarter trim panel- cargo bolt?
I tried, but mine was super tight and was not able. I did not want to mess it up though. I used a piece of 1/8"-1/4" rubber with channel locks. -

Rear window belt So I also looked at the other windows. They all seem to have gaps at front and rear. I guess this is normal. I can't imagine that all of these were replaced so it must be OEM. -

New part (belt) installed So the 1/4" seems to make a huge difference in that part fits under the mirror assembly. Hopefully that will fix my worse leak. But at the rear, the new part seems to have a notch i had not noticed when i first got it. See picture. Does anyone have this? I guess these... -

When I went to fix leak issue, found that morons that went into the door destroyed the receiver (female) part that the window controls clip into (see picture below, white part). Seems like it can be replaced. Anyone know if this can be ordered at GM? They had just glued the whole thing back in... -

2004 GMC Yukon SLT - Rear Air
Well, i ordered the 1573506, but i am told that the number on the part itself is actually 15832319. Funny thing is rockauto sells both, one is $20 more than the other. But they are the same and PNs cross reference. It is a little confusing. I will post when i receive the part. -
