    How high can i go with cranking and rear blocks?

    I just finished installing 1" blocks in the rear and slightly cranked the torsion bars. I needed a little more clearance for the bigger tires i am running. I bought the blocks from jegs for $20. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

    Dude, your truck looks great as it is. Dont put the fender flares on just take off the side molding, and it would look awesome. Or put them on and paint them white, but i definitely dont like em black!

    Installed new mirrors. Had to get rid of the bug gut etched ones!!!

    Replaced rear leaf springs,shackles,u-bolts. Installed 1" lift blocks in rear,and cranked the torsion bars (need a little more height up front tires rubbin) Installed off road lights and added new rear shocks!

    No, I dont think they do. I did a little checking and I believe they started putting cabin filters in the newer body style say 2000-2001.

    I just installed a set of Rancho RS5000 shocks on my 97 2d tahoe. No complaints, but i really dont know if that is a great shock for your truck!

    I have a two door 97 tahoe too, and have the same problem. What i found is that i must have a vacuum line that is broken because when i have the selector switch for the air to blow only out of the dash it is still blowing out the defrost vents! Causing a pressure drop! You might have the same...

    I have a 97 tahoe 2dr if i crank the torsion keys and install 2" blocks in the rear do i need to replace the shocks or will the current shocks fit?

    To each their own! People like what they like! I would not go, so over the top with a system like that, but i have with other things, that others felt were silly.
