2000 Tahoe Z-71 DRL flickering (SOLVED) Thanks to everyone who responded and helped. It was indeed the headlight/dimmer switch (which is mounted on the left most section of the dash under the vent). When I changed this out, which took all of 10 minutes, the problem was solved. Thanks again...- tginok9

2000 Tahoe Z-71 DRL flickering
When turn on my healights and the DRL indictor on the dash is not lit, I do have control of the high beams. however when that short occurs, thr DRL indicator light on the dash goes on and I have no control of the high beams. The HID low beam/DRL stay lit.- tginok9

I found the Fuse, #15. I removed it but my problem is still there. When I turned my headlights on, they sometimes revert back to the DRL (the symbol is still present on the dash, though no lights come on on the front of the tahoe). This is driving me nuts....- tginok9

Hey, any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a 2000 Z-71 (OBS). I bought it used a few months ago. It already had aftermarket HID headlights installed. These lights are also the DRLs.
