yep, I feel the same regarding our 15 yukon without mag suspension. I guess I'm used to it now, but it rides like a brick, IMO. I downsized to the 20" wheels too.
.
I did the same when installing headrest monitors and attempted all sorts of ways to latch them with broken tabs with no luck. I tried industrial type velcro and after a few months I gave up and ordered two new ones. I still have the orig with broken tabs.
and why do some sites like to spec bulbs at 8000 lumens when really that's a combined number with two bulbs? No single led fog bulb is going to provide 8000 lumens:whymewhyme:. Hell, even the best HID setups (D2S, D1s bulbs) only probide approx 3200-3500 Lumens each. haha
.
I have a set of 275/60/20 on order but I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts. It seems that most I see with this size have at least a leveling kit. I plan to leave everything stock, so I'm not 100% sure these won't rub. I know it's only another 1/2"....hmmmm.
Does anyone have any pics of...
I couldn't get my dealer to cover the steering wheel tsb so I plan to order the three parts and attempt it myself. I haven't had the time recently but it drives me nuts. If the yukon was my daily vehicle it would have been addressed months ago.
Yeah, these consoles are pleather at best. More like rubinyl (vinyl/ rubber).
Yeah pulling apart and then 're pulling material should be fairly simple. I plan to pull mine apart for other reasons soon. There is a step by step shared by someone on here when they installed a wireless...
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The current premier's I'm running look small.
I haven't been able to find many pics but think this is the route I'll go. I have 22s but think I'll get rid of them and stick with 20. 20s actually look good if more rubber is added.
I am looking to replace our current Michelin Premiers with the defenders and I'm considering going up to a 60 series from the oem 55 series.
Anyone here running 275/60/20? I'm thinking the extra 1/2 of sidewall can only help the ride as well as look better in the massive wheel wells of our XL.
sure. Yes, likewise...we are going to go with an 18 GM (assuming it's buffeting free) or the ford. The ford seems nice except I have a feeling the rear may ruin it as it looks too soft and flex like. I've seen a navigator mule up close in person here in MI on the road and the interior looks...
I totally agree and while there's little to zero competition in this segment currently, i don't blame GM for not making material improvements...it works and they sell. it's just hard jumping into a truck that is almost 5yrs newer and a hell of a lot more coin to have a less quality feel than my...
I'm comparing a 2011 GC to a 2015 (16/17) Tahoe LTZ/Yukon SLT.
Leather, Dash, door panels, buttons, etc. are of much higher quality compared to our 2015i YUKON SLT.
I think you helped prove his point. A jeep that was introduced during the previous design has a higher quality finishes than the current yukon/tahoe. And I don't think they are horrible, but I understand where he's coming from. I think they are moving the right direction but do wish the...
I think most that don't have an issue are probably coming from a 10-20yr old GM vehicle. Of course the new one is going to feel like a benz or lexus compared to the dated models as they were dated during those times.
We bought one as well as it serves a purpose, however, I too wish the...
Ha. If I ordered an 18, the grill would be the first thing i'd remove. I'd go with current denali or premier version in either black or color matched. However, more than likely we'll give the expedition or navigator a serious look this summer.
Very true. I see no reason not to update all standard lighting. It's crazy that there is no standard hid/led and led at this price point. Why does the base yukon have led front rear but not mid level tahoe?
most make many more changes 4th year in then this...Acura made major changes to their SUV after 3yrs, Jeep redesigned front and rear of the grand cherokee after 3yrs plus all new electronic dash layout along with many more interior changes. These are just two examples of vehicles I am closely...
They didn't change crap over 7yrs with previous design so not sure they'd do much here, even though they should.
I think many thought a slightly different front clip and rear might have happened. It was reported somewhere that this was the case but I guess a lousy grille change is all it is...
not feeling the grille at all...just go look at a 2018 Terrain denali in person...it's the same identical pattern. Definitely too aftermarket looking and cheaper like appearance, IMO.
