2015 LTZ with a couple gremlins

I have a complete seat out of a 16 LTZ that I'll sell you for less than $700. Jet black leather. Unfortunately, 50k miles is when these trucks seem to start falling apart. Our 15 yukon XL has had numerous issues over the past 6mos and is now sitting around 55k miles.

    New Tahoe RST

I agree and of course there were the small exceptions over the years but my point is 5yrs ago, you didn't go past a GM lot and see 10+ blacked out /color matched optioned vehicles brand new on the lot. Now, every dealer from every manufacture is mass producing these optioned vehicles which will...

Escalades having the same issues ?

Nope. The caddy does have MRC but it also has adjustable modes that change suspension firmness, shift points, and I believe steering unlike the denali and LTZ. IMO, it's cool but probably pointless for such a large SUV but is an additional option exclusively to the caddy. .

    Adjustable pedals stopped working...

Anyone here have problems with the adjustable pedals not working? just this week I went to adjust pedals (wife's daily vehicle) and they no longer move. I do hear clicking when pushing button either direction but pedals do not move. I'm hoping it's something simple.

GM is buying back my Yukon

I know many here were waiting to see if issues were fixed for 17 and it doesn't appear to happen... If she's set on one, maybe wait until the 18s arrive late summer.

    New Tahoe RST

the question is how long before this trend fades as many manufactures have been doing this for almost 5yrs now. It won't stick around much longer, IMO. Like with most things, a new trend will come along very soon. .

GM is buying back my Yukon

It will be interesting to see how it performs in the all new Expedition. I believe it will be same powerplant but with the 10spd tranny.

GM is buying back my Yukon

My experience has been quite the opposite. Last two GM vehicles have been garbage (Traverse LTZ, and current 15 Yukon XL.) Multiple repairs before 50k and vehicles just never seem right. Meanwhile my 11 grand cherokee has 90k miles and still drives like the day I drove it off the lot. and...

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

The buffeting typically occurs in 40-50mph and 60-70mph. Our buffering issue always disappeared around 75mph+ vibration on the other hand was always 70+ which is typical with a lot of imbalance issues. With that said most of our issues went away with new tires and wheels although the buffeting...

Decision made. Take delivery tomorrow on a new 2017 Denali

I kept hearing gm will have the 10spd tranny but thought it would be 2019 after ford releases it in the expedition for 18. Makes sense since They are using the same tranny.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

I wish it were this simple. It's much deeper of a problem than a simple vent, unfortunately.

I've had 3 of these new Tahoe/Yukons..no issues

So when a customer and gm go to arbitration , that's not considered "forced" to buy back? It may not end up being documented as a forced buyback even though it is. It is true that many aren't considered forced (mainly due to the track record...gm knows they will lose) but There are numerous...

    Maybe Time To Trade

I hear they may have a premium model expedition with different engine option. Regardless, I'm sure the v6 turbo will outperform our XL 5.3V8. As long as it can tow, I really don't care whether it has IRS. People hauler and towing are my main concerns. We are still considering dumping the...

    Maybe Time To Trade

With the current model issues, The 2018 expedition will do very well if it's a solid truck. Should be available to order in a few mos. We are in the same position and as of right now we are waiting to drive one before ordering and trading in our 15 XL.

Seat swap from bench to captain...?

also, most likely the set will have full power and heated but don't worry...there are still manual levers and will still work if you don't currently have those options with the bench.

Seat swap from bench to captain...?

shop online for set. I did the swap in our 15 XL right away. It takes 30min or less. just remember that the buckets must be out of a short wheel base.

No, only because I was in a different state when we purchased. I am sure that would help.

    Steering wheel removal?

I realize that's what they want and that's my point. I've had many other vehicles (different manufactures, obviously) and regardless of warranty, if it's a very well known issue with long TSB history, they would honor the repair in good faith especially when the vehicle was within the first...
