    Any non-buffeting Tahoes out there?

I was hoping this was no longer an issue but there have been reports of 18s with buffeting problem. Someone posted elswhere recently they ended up returning their 2018 Tahoe due to horrible buffeting which was making them sick. I am in the market of replacing our 15 yukon for an 18 but now...

What is the chance that GM would fix the vibration/buffeting issue in 2017 models?

Sunroof has nothing to do with buffeting issues.

I've seen many expeditions on the road and will say outside of the platinum/limited pkg, they look very plain and blah...although I'd say that about a base tahoe, burb, yukon as well.

Ugly? I wouldn't call it ugly...just saw one in person this morning in black and have to say they look much nicer in person...kind of LandRover'ish. Folks thought the current GM trucks were ugly as ever when released in 2014. I still think the caddy has the "looks" even though I hate the...

a gamble for sure but we have two 1st model year runs now and the jeep has been flawless (100k miles and 6yrs) while our 15 Yukon has been one big headache. I've always had this mindset but sometimes having a new model 12-15mos early is worth it.

I have seen a handful of each on the road the last few weeks but my local dealer has yet to receive an expedition. We are looking at trading our 15 xl in on either 18 denali or loaded expedition.

I'm sure it varies by location but I see no reason not to be in the 20-25% for any 17 model at this point. I'm getting closer and closer on a 18 denali xl (want the 10spd) and I'm at 16% off on a 2018.

New Member - Contemplating Grand Cherokee Hemi vs. Tahoe Signature

I currently own a 11 GC overland and it's been nothing but great the last 6rys and 100k+ miles later (2 dealer visits). We have a 15 Yukon XL, and like all have said, whether it's the burb or tahoe it's going to have more space then the GC. I wish I had positive things about our yukon, but...

for a 17, I would expect 20% or more off MSRP. SOme dealers have 18s for almost 15% off this month.

New upgrade from 2015 xl Denali to 2018 xl Denali

I stopped using gel silicone greasy base tire dressing years ago. It's pricey but this is what I've used for the past 5yrs... one application will last 3-6months. https://www.autogeek.net/tuf-shine-tire-clearcoat.html I typically do 2 and sometimes 3 applications a year and that's for a daily...

16 Escalade vibration issues...any fixes or buy back?

I've noticed this as well while shopping...I was set on a 17 given all of the discounts but have noticed some places now offering additional discounts on 18s as well.

New upgrade from 2015 xl Denali to 2018 xl Denali

I know you had a trade but approx how much (%) off sticker did you get it for? If I can get 12% or more off MSRP I think I'll go with 18.

New upgrade from 2015 xl Denali to 2018 xl Denali

glad to hear...I am on the fence between a 17 and 18 but really wasn't looking at a denali. THe 10spd and other updates (unknown) might be enough to push me for an 18 denali.lol

New upgrade from 2015 xl Denali to 2018 xl Denali

congrats! When you say suspension, is the ride just improved overall or is there a mechanical difference? I thought they kept with the same MRC tech.

what options does it have in addition to the standard slt pkg? I've seen some dealers offering new 2018 SLT XLs in the $57k range with additional options to boot.

totally...anything under 18% would be a bad deal at this point for a 17.

True but most likely those did not sell at 20% off 6-12mos ago....I think it all works itself out honestly. so actually if purchasing and getting around 20% off, the dealer is accounting for the 12mos depreciation. Some places are offering close to 12% for 18s so that's where it becomes...

I'm considering both, still. It's either the SLT or Chevy Premier. I've always favored the GMC, hence the 15 we currently own, but figured maybe the burb would be a nice change. wife doesn't want black interior this time and I much prefer the cocoa in the chevy over the SLT. The gmc tan...

maybe the suburbans are differetn but I'm considering a 17 premier suburban and we are right at 18% and I'm pushing for 20%. if happy with deal, I am going to work on trade-in price for our 15 yukon.

    I need some logic!

^^Agree. Unless you know the person and or dealer, I would not recommend buying any of these trucks used with multiple owners over a short period, nonetheless a 2015. off lease with minimal service records, maybe, but otherwise I'd steer clear. ...just my 2 Cents.

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

I believe 4x2 models are included as well. I know a rental I had in arizona last year (2016 model) was 2wd and it had the buffeting problem similar to my '15 4x4. .

no, dash is pretty solid. The info center/console area creaks a little but not at an annoying level.

    2018 Yukon XL Denali

not many fit/finish issues I've had many mechancial problems...quite pleasd for the most part with fit/finish. Ceiling panel rattles, door switch plastic creaks like a 20yr vehicle but other than that not too bad.
