    2018 Yukon XL Denali

interesting...overall do you notice a huge improvement from the 15 to the 18 in overall fit finish and feel?

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

It's not just a noise...it's a sensation felt and to complicate things it seems that not all are affected. Do your ears pop or do you feel pressure when flying? Or do headphones block that too? That's essentially what people are dealing with. And yes there are rattles and maybe a even a howl...

you should be able to get close to the $59k for an 18 but like you said, no 0%. I could be wrong, but I don't believe the 18s have the 10spd without going to the denali. I am looking at an 18 XL SLT for right around $60k or a 17 burb premier for $59k...can't decide if I want to move over to a...

New Truck in Town vs GM Units

I tend to agree...saw a base model expedition last week traveling down the hwy and it definitely resemebled the flex.

New Truck in Town vs GM Units

Someone posted an article comparing the new ford expedition with the current suburban along with an actual road test comparing the two. why would that not be applicable here? :emotions34:

New Truck in Town vs GM Units

I've seen quite a few of these on the road in my area and can say they look much nicer in person with a very classy look with a nice stance. The rear is definitely my least liked part of the new design. I also believe the wheels are too busy and take away from the lines. I've seen some with a...

New Truck in Town vs GM Units

The road trailering comparison in the article and video was the "Expedition XLT limited" NOT the 400HP Platinum version, so it was a fair comparison, IMO. .

Does new 2018 YUKON still have the vibration issue?

From many inside sources (GM engingeer and high level person within caddy division) this generation of trucks has had more "buy backs" then any other GM truck, period. If that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. This issue is a different animal than a little annoyance as you all are...

Does new 2018 YUKON still have the vibration issue?

This is true, however, there have been published articles in magazines on this issue, news stories, and GM engineers have acknowledge the problem, etc, so it's not a low number occurance. It's frusturating to hear 3yrs later the same issue exists. .

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

Yep, did that right away...no change. New tires and new ring and pinion made the biggest difference. 30k miles later the r&p are bad again. With that said It's still there but not nearly as bad. Basically for me it's borderline tolerable now while many don't notice it when riding in our XL...

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

I considered doing the roof repair with our 15 2yrs ago but ended up not as it is not a "real fix" not sure why gm is still ripping apart headliners in brand new trucks. It will either slightly help or not fix at all and eventually come loose again. It's deeper than a quick roof fix...

You can do much better on 17s. Look at my numbers above...that's the best I can do right now and I may wait until Dec hits to see if I can do better. Although I'm still considering an 18 at around 12% off I'm having a touch decision on what makes most sense...go with a 17 suburban Premium or...

    2018 Yukon XL Denali

The cooled seats were changed to the "ventilated" style for 2017 and of course 18. Only the 15 and 16s had the cooled version.

New and need advice on price 17'

I'm currently looking at a 17 suburban premier at 19% off. Or a 18 yukon SLT XL and 12% off sticker. I've always preferred the gmc, but given we have a 15 yukon xl currently, I may go with the burb. I'm just not sure which would be the better buy at this point. And they both must pass...

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

... it has been mentioned over and over, it seems some folks are more susceptible to it while others may not ever notice it.

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

Coming from someone that has owned an SLT XL for over 2yrs now and have dealt with the buffeting and vibration issues since the beginning, I'd say not to worry if truck is sitting at 30k+ miles and all is Okay after long test drives.

Has GM fixed the buffeting and vibration issues?

There are a lot of (16/17 models) trucks used with only 5-10 thousands miles on them for sale which makes ya wonder. I'd like to find a used 17 with very few miles but given the issues with our 15 XL, it's going to be new or walk from gm. It's amazing 3yrs later And They still don't have an...

    iPhone X

haha...yeah, it cracks me up seeing everyone get excited when apple releases a new phone with dated technology. My neighbor made a big deal about their new iphone 8 having wireless charging...lol The "X" might be a game changer but apple has fallen off with advancements the last 5yrs.
