    LED Exterior Lights

appreciate the pics...I currently have the 921 and while they look super bright, I can't stand the lack of light they project at night with rev cam. I plan to swap out with one of the others right away. thanks!

yep, that's been the consensus. I've driven multiple (8+) burbs, XLs and they all have the issue at varying degrees. Even within my own family, some didn't notice a thing while others almost became sick.

glad to hear, however, from most feedback re the 17s, the buffeting and vibration issues have not been fixed.

Thanks for posting. This is informative but the mirrors are not what's causing the buffeting issue with these trucks.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

LTZ and Denali line have covers for both cupholder and storage pocket. I have been wanting to swap out the cupholder section since getting our SLT 14mos ago. It may not be anymore functional but it looks so much nicer, IMO.

wow... $300 for the set? Any pics? They look like a different style compared to all the other LED H11 on the market. High quality!

looks like he went with the 30w(sold as 60w) H11 LEDs.

    LEDSs headlights package

when you say you checked the heat of light after 40min, are you talking about the light housing or the fins themselves? There's been some crazy info posted by others with different vehicles using these type of LEDs for headlight replacements showing major heat issues. Yes, the led portion is...

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Thanks for the pic. I was actually referring to the folks with LEDs for the low beam headllights.

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Is the main heat generated from the lights mainly outside of the housing? This is my biggest concern as I've seen many reviews discussing how much heat is generated from these setups. If it is inside the housing, there's no doubt that it will eventually cause problems. I do prefer this easy...

    2015 2nd Row Seat Swap...

brackets are different (bench has additional mounting points) but do mount in same locations...it would be a lot more work vs just swapping seat and bracket all together.

    Given a 2017 Yukon for a Loaner

Unsure if you've had any drive issues with your '15...vibration, buffeting, etc. but do you notice a difference in overall feel/road manners? Is it tighter/smoother driving?

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Thanks for the review. The new location of LED are a def a good thing. I wonder how hot the inside housing gets with the 80w leds? I have a set of the 30w (4200k) xenondepot and they provide a nice color and okay output for fogs but what I notice along with other aftermarket LEDS in fogs with...

What is the chance that GM would fix the vibration/buffeting issue in 2017 models?

I would say a high percentage of folks on other "buffeting" threads have owned multiple tahoes/yukons/suburbans over the years prior to the latest model, including myself. I've also been in many vehicles with similar sunroof screens and they have never been as annoyingly loud as our Yukon.

Just bought a 2016 Tahoe LTZ. Could use a little advice.

Thank you but I've been down that road a few times over the last 15mos with no real success, including working directly with a GM engineer. I'm hoping there ends up being a real fix and I don't have to buy new tires annyally and/or have them road forced routinely to keep from having the dreaded...

    2106 vs 2017 Tahoe

I am considering doing the same with our 15 XL but I'm more interested in ride improvements, vibrations, buffeting fixes than anything else. If a lot of these issues were fixed for 17, I wouldn't mind updating as well. How is your 15 in terms of fit &finish, rattles, etc? I would also like to...

Just bought a 2016 Tahoe LTZ. Could use a little advice.

Julianne / GM Customer Care, Any information regarding the buffeting issue with these new trucks? Was it addressed for 2017? It would be nice to hear from GM regarding the ongoing vibration/buffeting issue that they keep claiming to be "normal". There's a reason these models are racking up...
