new CV axle?
Well, I got the CV axle and was going to install it this morning when I noticed that my wheel was moving ever so slightly. I felt a slight vibration while rotating the wheel. Bad hub. Back to the store to get a new hub, 170 bucks later and a bloody knuckle from removing the hub nut, the humming...- fistful of jigs

new CV axle?
So you have two new hubs and you still hear the humming? I guess I will replace the cv axle first since it is cheaper. I'll tell you how it goes. Might be tough to fit it in with the holiday stuff to do. I think it should take about an hour or two since it's my first time replacing the axle...- fistful of jigs

2004 Tahoe 4WD 5.3L Flex. 120,000 miles Truck is making an intermittent rumbling type vibration. Feels like I am driving on broken asphalt.
