I'm guessing the rig you're buying doesn't have the rear seat entertainment screens. That's what I use for my kids in the second row - iPad hooked up through the HDMI port. I ordered mine end of October and it took 4 months for delivery. But that was immediately after the GM strike ended so they were still getting up and running, and then they shut down the plant for Christmas too.- gatorintx

Yes, the Z71 cannot be optioned with ventilated seats. However, you can get them on a comparable Yukon AT4. Other than the styling/badging of course, that was one of the only real differences I could find between the Z71 and AT4 (and one of the reasons I went with an AT4).- gatorintx

2023 Yukon Denali mats/cargo liners
I put those canvasback liners on my wife's Wagoneer. Slides easily, definitely better sliding on a rubber mat. I think they look pretty good and it's easy to clean up dog hair from them because it doesn't get all stuck like it does on the carpet. -

Yeah I was gonna say, looks like you're missing a seat there! I've got 3 kid's car seats at the moment, so having the captain's chairs was crucial to allow the oldest to climb through to the back. -

Can you turn off Auto Shutdown (eco mode)
Agreed. My old X5 had an auto-stop off button, but it would keep it off until you pressed the button again no matter how many times you turned the car on and off. It was a much better system. Seems like this auto stop eliminator is the way to go.- gatorintx

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles
Wow - that sucks. Glad you were able to get off the highway safely. And if you can get it fixed in 5-10 days, that's probably a win. Though absolutely crazy to happen at just 3,200 miles. Is this an issue specific to the 6.2L? Seen a few posts lately about this but all seem to be with the 6.2.- gatorintx

Expedition Max to Yukon XL?
Just gonna throw out another option for ya - the Wagoneer L. Has all the space you need, and with the tow package, it has a GVWR of 10k lbs, easily class-leading. We towed a 31 ft, 6500 lb trailer with my wife's Wagoneer last summer in the 100+ degree heat. It pulled easily with no issues...- gatorintx

Anyone powdercoat their AT4 wheels black?
Got an AT4 on order and I like the stock rims, but I'm tempted to have them powdercoated completely black. We did it on my wife's Wagoneer and it looks so good. Has anyone done this, and if so - mind sharing a pic? Especially on a dark gray exterior? -

I'll second the Canvasback. We have them installed in my wife's Wagoneer and they're great for keeping our golden retriever's hair from getting embedded in the carpet. Dirt and hair vacuums up really easily with the Canvasback cargo liners. They're attached via velcro, but it doesn't velcro...- gatorintx
