what useful items do you carry in your SUV?

Portable air pump so I can fill up my tires when they get low. Jump box with jumper cables. Wet wipes everywhere. Portable potty (with bags) for little ones if we're at a soccer game or the park or something with no restrooms. Blanket, just in case. Bungee cords. First aid kit - it is...

Getting a new to me 2023, Have a couple questions..

I'm guessing the rig you're buying doesn't have the rear seat entertainment screens. That's what I use for my kids in the second row - iPad hooked up through the HDMI port. Third row kid gets an iPad. I get the whole limiting screen time thing. We do that normally. But when we're on a 7...

Yep I received mine immediately upon submission as well. Before I left the dealer.

    New Order Turn Around Times?

I ordered mine end of October and it took 4 months for delivery. But that was immediately after the GM strike ended so they were still getting up and running, and then they shut down the plant for Christmas too.

    Z71 ventilated seats

Did not know that! Another reason I'm glad I went with the AT4. It's pretty damn quiet on the inside.

    Z71 ventilated seats

Yes, the Z71 cannot be optioned with ventilated seats. However, you can get them on a comparable Yukon AT4. Other than the styling/badging of course, that was one of the only real differences I could find between the Z71 and AT4 (and one of the reasons I went with an AT4).

    2023 Yukon Denali mats/cargo liners

I put those canvasback liners on my wife's Wagoneer. Slides easily, definitely better sliding on a rubber mat. I think they look pretty good and it's easy to clean up dog hair from them because it doesn't get all stuck like it does on the carpet.

Who has Tuxmats in their truck?

Yeah I was gonna say, looks like you're missing a seat there! I've got 3 kid's car seats at the moment, so having the captain's chairs was crucial to allow the oldest to climb through to the back.

Can you turn off Auto Shutdown (eco mode)

Agreed. My old X5 had an auto-stop off button, but it would keep it off until you pressed the button again no matter how many times you turned the car on and off. It was a much better system. Seems like this auto stop eliminator is the way to go.

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

Wow - that sucks. Glad you were able to get off the highway safely. And if you can get it fixed in 5-10 days, that's probably a win. Though absolutely crazy to happen at just 3,200 miles. Is this an issue specific to the 6.2L? Seen a few posts lately about this but all seem to be with the 6.2.

Who has Tuxmats in their truck?

Here are the pics in mine. Look the same as above. They have good coverage. The surface is not rubber, it’s sort of rubber-like on top, but it is soft and has some give to it. It’s more comfortable than the rubber mats I’ve had. Per the website, you can clean them like a rubber mat - initial...

I just installed some Tuxmats in my Yukon XL the other day. I'll try to snap some pics when I get home to post.

    New Denali Ultimate Questions

What first aid / emergency safety kits do you have? I just picked up my XL but the under floor storage area is pretty shallow. My current kit is way too thick to fit, so I want to find something that’s more flat so that it’ll actually fit under there.

    Husky, vs Husky, vs ...

Do you have pics of the actual Tuxmats in your Yukon? They look great but the pics on the website are generic. I'd be interested what they actually look like installed in a Yukon but haven't found any pics on the forum.

New Member - New 2023 Tahoe Sterling Gray.....Escalade V Wheels

I haven't done this but I can't imagine it would be an issue since they're the same diameter and the Yukon and Escalade are the same platform. Bolt pattern will be the same. Might want to confirm the width of the rims/tires are the same. Also you probably want to know if you can pop out the...

    Expedition Max to Yukon XL?

Just gonna throw out another option for ya - the Wagoneer L. Has all the space you need, and with the tow package, it has a GVWR of 10k lbs, easily class-leading. We towed a 31 ft, 6500 lb trailer with my wife's Wagoneer last summer in the 100+ degree heat. It pulled easily with no issues...

    2022 Tahoe - 12k Manufacturers Warranty?

Completely agree. I currently drive a BMW X5 - when I take it in for service, I've got someone at my door within 5 seconds. One time they rotated my tires, I picked up the car, and drove to my office. They called me saying the tech was 99% sure he properly tightened all the lug nuts, but...

Anyone powdercoat their AT4 wheels black?

Got an AT4 on order and I like the stock rims, but I'm tempted to have them powdercoated completely black. We did it on my wife's Wagoneer and it looks so good. Has anyone done this, and if so - mind sharing a pic? Especially on a dark gray exterior?

    Cargo area protection with dogs?

I'll second the Canvasback. We have them installed in my wife's Wagoneer and they're great for keeping our golden retriever's hair from getting embedded in the carpet. Dirt and hair vacuums up really easily with the Canvasback cargo liners. They're attached via velcro, but it doesn't velcro...
