Does anyone know what the largest capacity usb stick you can use in a 2022 model? File limits? My 2014 Mylink system can use up to 128gb and handle 10,000 songs for instance. Plays mp3 and and a few other file formats.
I'm hearing from my dealer that this doesn't apply to orders that were for retail stock. My Tahoe was a retail stock order that just happened to have everything I wanted. I placed the deposit in early May, was built on 6/15. After sitting in Midlothian for almost a month I'm about to take...
I totally agree about it being overly bouncy! I was originally looking at a Suburban until I test drove one. Reminded me of how bouncy driving a big long church van once felt. The Chevy dealership here gave it to me as a loaner while my Camaro was having warranty work done lol.
I don't see people here ever mention the Land Rover Defender 130 amongst the other options that are out there. I was originally considering one but went with the Tahoe in the end for nostalgic reasons.
That looks nice! I've been thinking about putting a matte black wrap on my Z71 too once it arrives. Figure it's better than plastidip lol. Any advice you can give about getting it wrapped somewhere?
Which previous system? I'm about to be taking delivery of a '22 and I'm used to the old MyLink infotainment system that they used in 2014 models (Camaro).
The Suburban didn't feel too bouncy to you? I originally was leaning towards a Suburban over the Tahoe until I test drove one. It felt way too bouncy in the back. Perhaps the air ride settings were off if that's possible, but it truly felt like I was driving a long church van! (Which I had to...
Yes that's very good news! It likely means it's gotten its missing part, or whatever the hold up is, and is waiting to get on the rail now. Assuming you have a window sticker by now. Did it ever visit the hardware shop in Grand Prairie?
P.s. guessing you must be from Nebraska? I used to live...
It just arrived there earlier today. Could be anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks until the dealer has it picked up from Tampa. I live in Florida btw. For reference my Tahoe was built on 6/15. Sat in Midlothian for about a month, then Grand Prairie and lastly Arlington again for about...
Your Tahoe likely visited the hardware shop in Grand Prairie they've been using for missing parts/bolts/finishing touches etc. Very mysterious company. Mine went there before going back to Arlington before it was shipped. It's now sitting in Tampa waiting on pickup.
Yeah same here! Where the hell do you register your email at? I can't find it either lol.
How many entries appeared when you entered your VIN? There were 3 for mine. The first two don't make any sense though. Unless my Tahoe really did make a stop in Pennsylvania on route to Louisiana from...
I entered my VIN on the United Road site and 3 entries came up. Oddly enough the first two entries were some Chevy dealership in Pennsylvania followed by DO NOT USE. The third entry was my dealership in Florida. What's up with that?
It's likely because the ones that have been waiting the longest get trapped in there when more arrive each week. Basically it's like trying to get a drink from the bottom of the glass when someone keeps pouring more in. Or a cat burying a turd on a hill. You know the old saying.
Just got a text from my dealer early this morning that my Tahoe made it out of Texas and is in Louisiana. (I didn't know they shipped them across the Gulf to Florida!) So that means it sat about a week in Arlington after sitting for almost a month in Midlothian TX, after being produced on 6/15...
Anyone able to chime in about AFM/DFM and lifter failure? I'm hoping it can be disabled if it will prevent lifter failure. Oh and for the record my window sticker says 6.2L ECOTECH V8. No mention about the AFM/DFM.
If you go by the VINview they've been using a hardware shop in Grand Prairie to help finish production. At least that's where mine had went to at one point, lol.
