I just suggest looking it over good to make sure it's a match when you get it in, no matter where you buy one. I ordered a brand new AC Delco alternator for my DSM last year and the numbers on the box and alternator matched...it wasn't even close. I did a return on it and got the replacement...
I was also told (by an old timer) that this is what they used on all the local county vehicles. I did it for a long time with no problems on all my vehicles but I've been doing the Seafoam method for the last several years before an oil change (1/3 in tank, 1/3 in vacuum line, 1/3 in crankcase).
Welcome! I switched my Hoe with around 150k to fully synthetic when I got her with no problems. Currently using Penz Platinum but I do plan on switching to Amsoil Signature series when I get through my supply. I like the Wix as mentioned but the K&N filters are also good quality.

I've had delivered two brand new "AC Delco" alternators from Rock Auto in the past two weeks with the correct part number on both the part and boxes. Both were different and still not even close to the alternator I ordered. Ordering anything lately has become a huge tossup and more times than...

How do you like those Yokohama's and why jumping to Michelins?! I run them all the time on my DSMs and I love them. Great quality and most of them are American made.
She's a little dusty but I honestly prefer the outlined white-letters on these rigs. I have some 18" Silverado wheels that'll be going on soon (currently with Goodyear Eagle white-lettered).
Guess I'm in the minority but I like the non-snow flakes better. I actually like the chrome on white but I'm still rocking the old factory chrome 5-stars on the DSM too :)
