Need help ID'ing GM cam
Hey guys I bought this off of a guy loose and he said it was an LT4 Hot Cam. Come to find it looks nothing like the ones I'm seeing online (yellow paint, last 4 of part no. on end, longer dowel pin). I have 2 pics of some ID markings and was wondering who might have seen these before. Summit...- no cigar

99 5.7 Vortec freeze plug size
Hey all. I was wondering what the correct sized freeze plug is for the rear/cam hole. There are apparently 2 that have a 1/64th size difference. 2-3/32 and 2-7/64.... Thanks!- no cigar

Rebuild: Piston choice, flat tops, tuning etc.
Yeah, the LT4 has metric rings... I'm sort of holding out hope that I can possibly have it tuned for 87.- no cigar

Well the new pistons I bought ended up being stroker pistons so they didn't work for my build, but I now have another question... I ended up going with some flat tops from an LT4/Grand Sport vette (4 VR). I will also be using an LT4 hot cam. I know that this combo will require a tune, but at...- no cigar
