Thanks yes this sounds about right with whats going on. I didnt read too far into this post in the past since it was a 6.2 and i thought it was a 5.3 prob.- Gmfm

Yes still powertrain warranty. I just wanted to be armed with as much knowledge as possible when i take it in and being told its normal.- Gmfm

50k on the clock. I seen a post in the past with someone with what sounded like a similar problem, but couldn’t find it in the search so here we go. 2017 Yukon xl it makes a ticking noise in 1second intervals and with a stethoscope my best guess was around the bell housing.
