Is buying a Tech 2 worth it?

New tires
My only experience with Hankook tires was on a Cadillac CTS that my wife drove (she babied it)...they were brand new when we bought the car (dealer installed them right before we picked it up). Efficiency = miles/gallon If you don't consider low-octane fuels for whatever reason, then the numbers work out even more to your advantage. Just keep in mind that ethanol has only 70% of the energy as gasoline so E10 (regular pump gas) has 97% of the energy of ethanol free gas, and E85 has only 74.5% of the energy of ethanol-free gas (76.8% of what E10 has). Most gas coming out of the pumps already has 10% ethanol in it. I don't see how adding a slightly higher concentration would make much difference. Lets say you have a half tank, 13 gallons of E10 pump gas and you add 2 gallons E85. You end up with 15 gallons of E20 (20% ethanol). I doubt it will...- CountryBoy19
