Front Lowering, A Bit More...
I was thinking about maybe trying to tweak my front end just a tad lower. Has anyone done anything like the heater hose/ insulator mod on the front springs? Or trimmed the stock insulator? It would seem like such a waste to get lowering strut cups, only to put the trim spacers in, just to get a...- dbbd1

You could also lower the rear (level or drop the front too). That would help stiffen the rear too. And then there are sway bars. My hellwigs go on tomorrow.- dbbd1

Why would you? Those shutters open and close according to cooling needs. This means sometimes your lights will shine and sometimes they will just be illuminating the back side of those shutters. -

Just for grins (and because I had some laying around), I also wrapped my intake tube with header wrap. Just to further reduce any heat transfer from the engine bay.- dbbd1

Has anyone upgraded sway bars yet on 15+?
Endlinks! Now, there's a story for the grandchildren... I'll get more details after the install but, here's what I've done so far. I bought Moog links for front and rear, stock height. The new fronts are just a grade 5 bolt, a 3" metal spacer, the usual assortment of bushings/bushing plates...- dbbd1

Hard to tell from the pic but it doesn't look solid like the hellwigs. Yep, just read that they are hollow. Mine (hellwigs) will be here Friday, install on Saturday. I'll report back...- dbbd1
