    That sounds ominous. Just for grins, I went ahead and ordered another pcv tube (my 5.3l- #12619982) to cut apart, so that I can use the stock quick disconnects. For $20 and change, I thought is was worth it.

    ^ Too true... My Yukon? Nope. It's not even 4wd and too heavy. I'll take my Tacoma. But, if it gets really bad, I'm stealing some horses. Good off-road capability, no fuel to buy and, after some drying, you have some firestarters.

    I wouldn't know why, unless the tint has metallic properties. Laser? Maybe. I know that those early heated windshields, (they kind of look pinkish), are bad for them though.

    Have either of you tried the bolt mod? If it seems to happen going into or in V4 mode, you may just be feeling/hearing the flapper.

    I've done mine. Not a big chore. But, yes, it doesn't hurt to have a vacuum handy. I vacuum out the area for the filter while I'm in there. I did mine at about 10k miles (but 1-1/2 years old).

    Then you need my sliding radio screen mod to prevent that from walking off sometime too. It prevents it from opening.

    Not trying to be an ass... Take the door panel apart, does it rattle? Start putting one thing back on at a time, does it rattle? Maybe you can isolate it better this way. Given, the rattle may be nowhere near the part that you just put back on that caused it to reappear but, this may help.
