    Unless your not that picky about the outcome, I would just drop the truck or the pieces off at a paint shop. Black is the easiest and cheapest color to paint. Let the pros do it, shop around for prices, check their work and you'll be much happier in the end.

    I hate hearing this about nnbs. I spent lotsa time dreaming and looking at 07+ Yukons/Tahoes. I hope these are flukes and they're as reliable as the 96-06 were. My 06 Yukon is wonderful, just like all my GMs.

    Boo. No nothing yet except a newer Tahoe/Yukon. Everytime I drive in someone elses minivan or sport suv it makes me appreciate my Yukon with it's room and wonderful 5.3 even more. A Vette would be a nice addition however.

    I wouldn't bother with a full on lift kit for what your gonna use it for. Get some 285/75/16's or 285/70/17 if you find some newer denali or yukon wheels. The 04-06 Yukon 17's are nice looking.

    Do they still have this AFM? Or only the first couple of years? And I agree, GM agreeing to pay at least half is pretty cool. Most would just tell you your shit outta luck, as crappy as that is for something with only 100k.

    Get that shitty cai out of there, no small performance gain is worth dirt getting into the engine. While you have it all apart clean the MAF too. After that, run the engine for about 20 minutes or so and then change the O2 sensors. Treat it to some fresh synthetic and see how she runs then...

    Nice. Everything I've ever owned has been V8. My Wrangler is the only thing with a 6 cylinder and gets worse mileage than any of my trucks, go figure. And has no where near the power.
