Yeah that's what I have on my jeep and it blends right in.
what you have to do is technically "spread" the factory lines appart because new cooler is wider. U dremel off the plastic piece where they stick thru so they can be spread appart and fit them into the new cooler.
It is a bit but enough that I don't mind it. Actually kinda like that it shows a bit and I perfectly centered it so looks kinda bad ass. Most people think it's an intercooler.
When you finally finish your Yukon...or at least make up Ur mind what u doing with it!...its gone up and down, all kind of wheels and all kinda for sale signs on it, we dont even know what ur gonna do tonight with it! I THINK YOU SHOULD TURN IT INTO A MONSTER TRUCK
So 9" lines were too tight, 10 were pretty on the longer side still but they will work...12 were just too long! Wilwood lines also come with plastic end overmoldson the lines where the fitting rotates...reason that sucks is as you tighten that fitting, the line will spin on you and bind up...i...
lol I dont think it will happen soon...the hoses are pretty decently priced on rock auto, so is the $30 pedal, but most important part is the booster which seems to be around $280
Its all your fault...
Just got notification the new parts delivered...ill go check out how these new lines work out and hopefully be done with these rears!
I been following Atomics Thread on the other gm sites for a bit now and want to build my own kit as well...id love to see how fast this thing stops w 16 / 14.5 wilwood brake system and hydro
Awesome thread....
I used these spring compressors i borrowed from a co-worker when i did my XJ springs, but had a buddy that almost got hurt when they busted...so id say be careful with them!
Thanks fellas. Pics to follow this week after the rear SS lines come in. Hope when I bleed the system I have no leaks and I'll be a happy camper.
What I meant by half off I was talking about the rear brake like kit (brakes don't come w the lines and fittings). The kit from summit is 106$...
That's what I thought at first too. So I ordered another kit from summit. Now I have two kits here from them. lol. Good thing wilwood has a detailed list of the part numbers used on their kits. I ordered the parts individually from summit but got the shorter lines instead of the 12". Purchasing...
I ended up re-flaring the stock line on one end this morning....i am taking off the wilwood SS lines and replacing them with shorter 10" versions...the kit came with 12'', and they are too long and get in the way of the bump stop...after i bleed the system, hope she is all set to go.
Got the drivers side all figured out...the stock hard line fitting is so tight getting threaded into the wilwood fitting that you have to take the whole like out and make sure you drive it in straight. only way to do this was by placing it on the vice...so thats all done...took the pass side off...
