    I am rebuilding my transmission and got a kit with the Alto 3-4 clutch powerpack. The instructions differentiate between late and early model V8's. I know this is a noob question, but would my 1999 5.7 Vortec engine be considered a late or early model V8 for the purposes of this rebuild...
