Anybody see a reason the Z71 side steps wouldnt fit in place of the standard AT4(yukon) side steps? I hate auto running boards with a passion, so i didnt order them...but the Z71 tube steps looks better than the GMC offering. The AT4 doesnt even have specific steps...they are just the same as...
I cant see the appeal in lifting or even front leveling a denali. Nor can i see the appeal in larger tires if you are going to keep 22" wheels. Leave it be.
No on the grill guard or any roof stuff. Yes on the corsa. Who told you the wheels had to be 20’s? That isn’t correct. 17’s and 18’s are fine. I wouldn’t dump a load of $ into shocks unless you really want it.
We did similar denali....summit white over teak/shale. Its nifty. Came out of a black/black denali, and before that a escalade in pearl white over teak/shale. I much prefer white or gray exterior. Im torn on interior....wife wanted black but i think it shows all the dust etc. too easily...
It’s the best scenario you can hope for. The truck is damaged and none of your bravado will change that. Best to realize these things happen from time to time and just make sure they fix it. Sell the truck after if you are butt hurt.
I called around 4 states for 3 days looking for a Denali for my wife…..before finding an allocation through a dealer friend. Wacky market! Things are basically sold prior to order.
I’ve had 3….and it never once occurred to me to help facilitate it. In pickup truck, Denali short, and Denali long…..neither will “spin” the rear tires on dry pavement from a stand still. Might get a little wiggle, but it would take standing on the brake….and I don’t know if it would roast...
All of it can be “fixed” via tune. I had an 06’ Silverado with the 6.0 LQ9….had pcmforless custom tune. Different truck after. Nearly 1 second quicker 1/4 mile too. But of course it’s harder on the drivetrain. Doubt an off the shelf tune will be nearly as aggressive.
The rst is sharp…..but w/o a 6.2 the idea is mehhh. If GM was serious, and they aren’t, they would include a unique engine, beyond the 6.2, or perhaps rear end ratio. Something to make it decidedly quicker.
