If your tires are unevenly worn the previous owner may not have had the alignment done after lowering it. The size you are running sounds common so you should be good there, and offset is measured in mm (which I was referring to at least is typically ~30, + or -). If a re-alignment wasn't...- iwaslowr

How to get rid of tar?
I personally use a high pressure sprayer as domin8 stated. If residue remains polishing wax (or WD40) works for me thereafter. I've been surprised at what polishing wax can remove... -
