Would you buy your Yukon or Tahoe again?

Agreed, it may also be referred to as the vocal minority:) We are on our 4th Denali and all ran well into the 150k range with about 15% of those being towing miles. We had a few little issues here and there but no more than our BMW’s (M3, 335ix, 328d) or Audi’s (A4 Avant, A3 and RS6..that had...

Cracked windshield on new 18 Tahoe LT

Just went through this with my 2017 Denali. Got a star at the beginning of winter had it fixed, but wanted to wait until spring to replace the windshield. Three stars and a 2 foot crack across the center later, glad I waited. I have State Farm and they sub-out glass claims to LYNX. When...

    Full time 4wd opinions

When I purchased my first ‘01 Denali with the AWD I had the same thoughts. Then I realized every one of our cars is and has to be AWD. Audi Quattro, scary planted on slick conditions. BMW X-Drive, crazy traction on the ice and snow. My ‘17 Denali I get to choose. However, the noise involved...

    2017 Stereo Upgrade

On my 4th Denali now and the Bose system has never been that great IMO. Every time I hop in the wife’s Allroad and turn up the Bang and Olufsen system I am ashamed at the sound quality in the Denali. Any suggestions for upgrades (speakers, amps, etc.) while retaining the factory unit? Seems...

AT tires for 2015+ to replace 20" Conti's...Recommendations?

Unfortunately, I had to replace the tires this winter and the studless I went with only came in the 275/55/20 otherwise, I would throw one on for a pic. I like the look of the bigger tire. I can tell you that it was close (1/4”) or less from the inner most part of the step. The radius is...

Here are a couple of the ‘17 and the ‘07. Sorry, this is all I had and the summer tires are back on.

AT tires for 2015+ to replace 20" Conti's...Recommendations?

Had a set of 275/60/20’s for my winter tires on my ‘07 and ‘17. Pretty tight and that is with a front level kit on both. The tires were studded so regular tires should be fine. Both also had retractable running boards. That is where it was close. @tmarzetta You keep posting that tire set-up...

    Thanks for the info. Bummer.

    LED bar behind grill

I think myself and the previous poster were wanting to know if one would work in front of the flaps. Is there enough space, room for mounting etc. You are right though, it would be stupid to put them behind the flaps.

2017 XL Denali vs 2016 ESV Premium vs 2016 ESV Platinum

+1 Also, the center console stack is a little more streamlined IMO. That said I ended up with another Denali since locally (within a 6 hour drive) nobody would move on price, lack of retractable steps on local Esky models and like someone previously said, Due to work I didn’t want too much...

    2018 Denali Adaptive Cruise Control

Would LOVE to know where the option on a 2017 is to have regular cruise!!! Would be ever so grateful for your assistance in locating this. You are right though. This is sh** compared to my Audi! Morons? Have you used this on rural roads at highway speeds and closed in on much slower...

    Crossbar Roof Pads

I am trying to find crossbar pads for the factory cross rails. It looks like a 42" pad could cover the entire crossbar making the most useful space. Has anyone come across a pad that fits these bars and is 40"-42" in length. I have two 18" sets but would like more coverage. Thanks,

Do I really need 4WD? 2017 Yukon XL Denali

Yes, My 2017 is horrible on the ramp pulling the boat out if it is not in auto or 4wd. Even siped the stock tires (22") and it will spin like crazy. Might be the stock tires too. And it is crazy sketchy on ice and snow in 2wd. Do you need it? Might not with PWC, but like others have said...

    Parasitic Draw

Just thought I would give an update. Finally, left it with the dealer for over a week. Of course, they couldn't get it to draw down after sitting inside for the weekend so they moved it outside to their lot. Fortunately, one of my son's friends is a tech there. I asked him if he could go out...

    Inexpensive tune?

Had an '07 Denali XL with the 6.2 and pretty sure there was no AFM. If so it was the best ever because you couldn't tell. That said, the BB tune had so many benefits (throttle response, shift points, mileage, towability) that I was not able to replicate with a hand held. Wait a little longer...

    Parasitic Draw

I feel your pain!! 4th Denali and can't believe GM can't get the little things right. Been spoiled by the Germans for the other vehicles in our stable when it comes to customer service. My update to this is well...the same thing you got again! Battery and charging system OK. The other...

    Parasitic Draw

Thanks for the suggestions. Everything still stock, not even a phone charger. Haven't hard wired the radar detector yet just so everything is as it was from the factory. It was dead again this morning after sitting for the weekend in the garage. First time dealer said battery and charging...

    Parasitic Draw

Yep, separate animal. Good to know. This is definitely coming from the driver side rear as it can be recreated by just rocking the vehicle. Probably nothing, but annoying as hell.
