2006 Suburban shift problem
The problem was what I suspected - non GM cable installed by repair shop. I installed a new GM cable from Chevy dealer last week and it works perfectly again.- 1921A

I have an ‘06 Suburban 1500 Z71 with a shift cable problem. Recently a reputable repair shop changed the GM shift cable saying it was bad. It worked fine before they worked on the truck.
