    I understand with the direct injected engines that carbon buildup can be an issue. Also understnad that carbon can contribute to piston slapping noise as well. How are you guys or do you decarbon these 6.2L engines?

    I might be reluctant to push up the stall on a turbo'ed engine. That turbo will do some of that by itself once it is in boost. And a heavy vehicle is also more sensitive to a higher stall. Not a big deal for racing. But for every day driving, highway, and maybe even hauling a trailer behind...

    2012 Yukon XL Denali 45k miles. Did I pay too much?

    Mine is an 11 that is the spittin image of the OP's. 108k miles, bought a couple months ago. I paid $19,500. The chrome on the wheels is lifting at the edges. I can only give you mine as a reference. Same color and all. But a year older and obviously a lot more miles.

    11' 6.2 Denali. Right at 3100 rpm and for a couple hun over that, it buzzes. Almost like someone with a real nazely voice. Didn't see anything loose. Anyone have this and a fix?

    VVT fix or delete with normal cam?

    How is the HP tuner? I assume that that gives a great deal of freedom with the tuning. Are there resources to help with tuning guidance? What is the biggest drawback with the VVT?

    Can the middle row be moved backwards?

    Looking at the 2011 Denali, I have 3-4" I could probably go back from stock before hitting the raised area. But mine aren't bolted down. there are welded in loops for the fold and tumble deal. Not sure how one would securely fab a bracket for that. Plus, we do need to consider that the belts...

    I wonder how far you can go gear ratio wise before making a noticable effect on fuel mileage. I belive my 11' awd is a 3.08. That is stifling. So a 3.42 sounds natural. But if you have to change two sets of gears, 3.73 starts sounding better and better. Maybe not good for a vehicle that...

    Ok it probably isn't. But My 11' Denali endlessly searches for something. You can hear it if it is quiet in the vehicle or before you start it. Is this normal or a sign of something? Also, the backup camera was fritzing on and off for a while. And now it's just off. Common problem?
