    Turbo Tahoe?

How do they recommend drilling and tapping without getting shavings into the oil? Lots of grease on the flutes?

    E85

I have been babying this tank of E85. 16 mpg so far. Usually when I check the gauge with the pump when I fill, the gauge is a little conservative. So it may be slightly better than 16. At 2.099 per gallon, that's just over $0.13/mile. That's less than a penny more than the old minivan on...

    2010-2012 Yukon XL Denali

I bought a 12' and really enjoy the vehicle. We had to have the oil pressure sensor/screen replaced, and I replaced the passenger side seat switch. Really comforable. Not the best mileage in the world. LOL. But a blast to drive.

    Turbo Tahoe?

Well that's disappointing. Is it advertised for the Tahoe? I may need to do some custom wires for my dragster. So if you build your own, please mention whose parts or kit you use.

    E85

I seem to be around $0.15 per mile on the e85, and about $0.19 cents per mile on higher octane gasoline. This is mostly country driving, and of course this is estimated off of numbers I have right now. Higher octane fuels around here shot up about the time I bought this truck. LOL. Seems...

    E85

I tried E85 in my 12 Denali with the 6.2L. first I will preface this with: We tried E85 in my wife's newer Impala, and the fuel mileage dropped enough that it simply wasn't worth running it. Cost more per mile. I did drop about 2 mpg on the Denali, but the numbers very much favor the E85 per...

HRE wheels & Baer brakes feeler

I can't even justify buying this stuff used. Let alone get a newer ride and sink $18k into accessories for it. I want a bigger fun money account!

Salt in the midwest certainly makes projects less fun here. Are you finished with your hip hop career of wrapping?

2013 Yukon driver seat recline and lumbar buttons not working

I forgot to add, you have to carefully pry the buttons off the switch before removing.. That would eventaully be obvious but thought I would mention it. I think the switch was right at $50

    Turbo Tahoe?

Ya know how you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! Keep working at it and it will eventually be complete. I'm interested in the tuning segment and how that goes. Also, how was the exhaust manifold removal and header install?

2013 Yukon driver seat recline and lumbar buttons not working

12...one screw in the front of the seat, and pull the plastic side off from the front. It won't come all the way off in the back. Pry the switch out of the holder carefully. The switch may come apart, and you will have to still take the cover out of the plastic side panel. with the switch...

2013 Yukon driver seat recline and lumbar buttons not working

I am replacing a seat switch that is bad on my Denali. Once I took it apart I could intermittantly get it to work.

Making progress! Pretty great seeing someone working in their driveway getting something like this done. Makes me feel spoiled with the shop I have and what I often don't get done. Very cool to watch. Please keep reporting!

    Restoring Leather Seats

Actually less of a restore than protection. Mine are lighter colored, and not cracked. Look pretty good. But where there is the most wear, along the lumbar etc, it is just a little worn, and thus the color looks just a little different. These are Denali ventilated seats. Is there anything...

Anyone lowered on factory Yukon 20's?

How does the handling change and the ride with the mild drops? And how do you go about say a 2/3? I would want a very subtle change. would this give an error message? Different shocks needed in this case?

    Turbo Tahoe?

I have turbos planned for my race car. But my tow vehicle is begging for a single. 6.0L Silverado 2500. Just not sure how well we could get it running for cruise speed to keep the truck and 10k lb trailer moving. In the mean time, I will watch you pave the road!

    Turbo Tahoe?

Really looking forward to hearing how it goes. I wish there were some sort of package tune that you could buy with these systems. I don't have anyone locally who could do the tune. Plus mine is a 6.2L It would be really great if the low rpm grunt at cruise and normal driving were positively...

Overheating towing with Denali 6.2L - Losing my F'n mind!!

Man there are some real plausable explanations throughout this thread. I am wondering about the oil pressure issue. Seems like a likely possiblility. Towing can elevate oil temp, which can also lower viscosity and pressure. Roll out of the throttle and come to a stop at lower rpm, and the oil...

    Head Room

Up, down, back and forward was well as lumbar all work on driver's seat. Both seats stop at what seems like the same place. I wonder if shorties owned it previously and the screw is gummed up where it wasn't used. Only thing I can think of. The 6'8" employee of mine was just plain...

    Mild cam upgrade

Well, just thinking about what may be looming for me. Maybe it really isn't something we need to be proactive with. I don't want to be stuck with E85 or over 91 octane all the time. Sometimes I'm even stuck with 87 octane. So I don't know about getting a tune. It does sound like the most...
