e-bay of course!!
I have never seen either of the wheels with the center caps off, or seen the back of the caps. I have no clue, I was just going on the size and shape.
Or maybe find someone that can cut the GMC part out of the cap, fill in the hole, and re-chrome it.... or whatever the hell they do to plastic to make it shiny.
Once you get them, you can actually get precise measurements. I found a set I would suspect may fit. They are "blanks" that were made...
I am considering the same thing. I don't tow often, and if I need to I can just flash it back to the factory settings. Seems like a pretty good idea. Have to gotten off the go pedal long enough to see any mpg improvements?
I don't see any blank center caps for those in particular, but I did find ones for some esky wheels that may fit. They want too much for them though. I have a spare set of center caps for my wheels, they don't have the bow-tie on them like the oems. I bet somebody makes them, or will in the future.
Even if it you don't like it after you get them, you know those things with good tires are worth a lot more than $650. I would buy them and resell them just to make a few hundred $$$$. Then you are that much closer to the wheels you want.
I use a swiffer duster WITH the handle! Makes it so easy to reach into the corners on the dash and they do a great job of dusting between those interior detailing days.
Ok... new nav unit is in and appears to be working just fine. Didn't take very long to do.
They were also replacing the passenger side A pillar trim. Well..... they replaced it. Wrong color. It appears they ordered a titanium colored trim piece. The two colors are very similar, so I wasn't...
I am not making any changes that my wife will hear. I am good with just mild performance gains and I really want to see how smooth they can make the 6 speed tranny. What is it with GM not being able to set shift points worth a damn????
Its not really surprising. GM is known for these little cost cutting ideas. At least I got the updated Nav with usb support.... now if they woud just fix the damn thing!
Your location description is better than mine. They are on that panel behind the seats. I just don't have the ones by the dome light. Sounds like another GM cost cutting idea.
At least we aren't in the loser category with the MANUAL fold up seats!!:laughing1:
None of the people I would have riding in my truck would be able to climb over the kids in the second row to get to the third row. However mine are significantly easier to get in to anyway. You just go down the steps to the basement, turn right, and sit down on them.:laughing1:
Serious...
I just went out and played with mine again, and it does in fact dim when it goes from day to night in the auto mode. On the display setting screen there are 3 buttons. AUTO, DAY, NIGHT. Select the night setting and use the bars on the side to dim the screen. Then select DAY and adjust it to how...
