In my experience only about half of the PDR guys are any good. Thanks to my wifes super awesome driving skills I have met no less than a dozen of these guys.
That dent is going to be hard to massage out. Anytime the dent is in a bend or crease in the metal it makes it very difficult to repair. Definitely call the dent doctor and have them check it out.
I think that feature is liked to the sensor that turns on your headlights when it gets dark. Do the auto headlights work? Is anything covering the sensor on the dash?
Fishhunter911 has them in his Yukon. Its an 07 short wheel base. We didn't actually try to fit them, but looking at his compared to mine they sure seemed to be interchangeable.
None of these issues is a huge deal, they are just annoying. The dealership is also replacing the a pillar trim piece on the passenger side. It has a few scratches in it. At least the dealership has been cooperative through this. I just hope replacing the nav unit fixes everything. Then...
Since this all started we have identified another glitch.... which may be normal, I don't have anything to compare it to.
Somewhere between 4 and 5 minutes after start up, the nav sort of resets itself. It don't lose navigation, but you hear a 1 to 2 second break in the sound and it...
Got a call this morning, the new nav unit has arrived at the dealership. I have an appointment for next Monday morning at 8am to have it installed. :party33:
They can be bought for cheap. I may get a set just so I can see them in person to decide. Though if you guys aren't all that happy with them then I probably won't be either.
I have had a few wheels repaired over the years. Your local dealership can probably recommend the guy that they use. The last was minor scuffing as well. I bounced it off the curb at an autocross event. I think it cost me $75.
That would be doable.... but I would want new or damn near new. I'm a picky SOB.
Its not the swap that bothers me. Lord knows I have taken every vehicle I have ever owned apart. My poor Trailblazer was gutted many times for my projects. I just want to make sure I do it right, as in the right...
I seem to be having an issue as well. yesterday my connection was as fast as every other site. Today its taking 15 to 30 seconds to open a page, and I have gotten a couple of "timed out" pages as well.
I like to go to the carmax website and see what they are selling them for. It gets me in the ballpark usually. I found one that is very similar to yours options wise. Its an 07 LT Z71 and all the other options with just under 60k miles and they are asking $28,948.
Heres the LINK
ok now I get it. I was afraid I was missing out on something!! I hadn't really noticed the differences in the various years and models. Now that I have looked, I can see why you upgraded!
Actually my wife now tells me she likes the Denali running boards because of the chrome strip on those. I...
I hit the "cursor" button and use the arrows.

So you are talking about the rear screen? The front one isn't supposed to play video while the vehicle is in motion.
I think you have confused me.
