Nope, eastern PA. The Tech-2 owners thread shows someone about an hour from me.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

New BCM arrived yesterday. Put it in and it fired right up, did not give me a security/key relearn issue. However I am getting an airbag error, which according to the paperwork still needs to be cleared by a scan tool. Blah. So I guess I'll have to take it to a shop... I don't think I need a...

I did the same today. So good luck to us both, I guess. I haven't dug in nearly as deep as you have, I'm just hoping it works.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

I'm fairly certain I don't have a suspension module as I have a 2500 with truck-style leaf springs and traditional shocks. I can still take a look though. I've already removed and reseated the bcm connectors. I'm also going to clean and check the PCM connectors as well. I've already looked at...

Yep, that video is pretty much what I'm experiencing. Although today, the error just says 4WD, at other times it will say traction/airbag/etc/etc/etc.

I've already wirebrushed that ground connector with no change, unfortunately.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Ooh, we've got new info. I'm pulling U0101 and U0102 codes (lost communication with TCM and Transfer case). Well that would explain the dash errors. Looks like I've got some deeper inspections to do. I found a longer/more detailed TSB document here...

I'll take a look then. The mega fuse on mine is right at the positive terminal, part of a bracket that includes the terminal connection.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Right, which originally had me chasing a parasitic draw for the past 6 months. But when I test across all the fuses like this video shows, all show 0. And if it was just low voltage, why does it immediately start after a quick disconnect/reconnect? Makes no sense to me. EDIT: I tested across...

A the battery everything looks clean as a whistle. No corrosion, no buildup of any kind. I have not inspected the other end at the fuse box.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Well, no bueno. Started up all afternoon yesterday fine sitting in the sun. Went out this afternoon, no start. What I'm dealing with - note the no indicator of the shift position. That's always a dead giveaway it won't start. Battery voltage showed 12.2. Little low considering I just charged...

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Well added the new negative cable today, sanded and wire brushed the connections at the lower front passenger frame, firewall on the driver's side, and ground under the driver's footwell. Added a new 4GA cable from the driver's head to the same point as the braided line on the firewall...

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

I got the new cable today but didn't get it installed yet. I also ran out and got another generic negative cable to add an additional ground (one of my searches here led to a video that showed that, and you can never over-ground, I suppose). I also found this document...

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

I have a super cheap bluetooth dongle that I use with an app - not the type that can read BCM codes, just basic engine codes and clear them, view ready status, etc. When the truck starts acting up, it cannot connect so won't give me a reading of anything. I'm afraid if I had one that could...

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Battery is about 6 months old. Was the first thing I replaced when all this started. When charging, the alternator is putting out 14v+.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

New ground for battery to passenger head and to frame coming today. Other main ground was braided cable from rear drivers head to firewall, and also checked one under driver's footwell at the frame. My truck is pretty corrosion free and the connections are tight. While I'm in there I'll take...

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Yes, that is the PN for my existing BCM. I've also seen them listed, coded, from Garrett Tuning and Highway 71 Auto Parts (although they actually list a different PN that they say is compatible). I don't know how good of a vendor either of those places are.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

Yeah I've been digging though other posts and it seems that grounds grounds grounds always comes up. I've already inspected all the main ones in the engine bay and they're in good shape and clean and tight. But I saw in one post that the factory negative cable was failing even though it looked...

2015 xl denali - ANOTHER no crank - no start issue! Scratching head!! - SOLVED

I have the exact same issue. I'm suspecting a bad BCM but everyone seems to think its grounds. All my grounds look fine, so IDK.

It goes right into the under dash harness. Someone on FB suggested it was there from factory for people who wanted to run an aftermarket brake controller. But I'm not sure this is causing my intermittent black-cluster no start condition.

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

On a side note, this truck was previously a "commercially owned" vehicle - to whom exactly I have no idea. But off the same harness that plugs to the BCM I found a bunch of cut wires... any idea where these are supposed to go?

    I suspect BCM... thoughts?

I've owned my 2010 Suburban 2500 for maybe 9 months now. I've had intermittent no start (won't crank) issues that I've always related to the battery. The first time it happened, it was also throwing all kinds of errors - 4WD, stability, ABS, etc. The shift position wouldn't display correctly...

Parking brake issues with 2010 Yukon XL 2500 - are there different parking brake systems?

Yeah I'm thinking of just replacing all the cables. They're cheap enough, and I can see enough wear that it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so anyway. It's just weird. When the pedal is disengaged, the cable literally sags down. When engaged it is pulled tight. Maybe the cables are seized up, but...

Parking brake issues with 2010 Yukon XL 2500 - are there different parking brake systems?

That's the same video that swathdiver shared in a different thread. My pedal mechanism does not look like that. My cable comes straight up and does not wrap around the ratcheting portion of the pedal.

Parking brake issues with 2010 Yukon XL 2500 - are there different parking brake systems?

When you say actuator, do you mean at the pedal? I've been looking at that and I don't see how any slack is taken up there. It's a simple end of a cable with a stop at the end. Just to be clear, this is for a 2500 with a push-to-release style brake; from what I understand there were some...
