Find a detailer and ask him to see if he thinks a good wetsand will get it down..suggest 2k grit and work your way down into light compound and then less and less abrasive polishes

No frame issues, it's common and not entirely understood imo. Some believe it's due to the addtl weight on the driver side.
Steering rattle is common failure also, search the forum for that one...its a $50 intermediate shaft and a diy.

no to the 3m tape...strong or not, it won't look right IMO. You'll create an ever so small space between the plastic guide for the chrome rail and the roof, with wind constantly hitting that gap....sail away roof rack.
250 and call it a day man...

Great idea, just clean it up a little and you're set. I would go with the volant tube, it goes right where you have yours but iirc it has a wider angle on it so it doesn't scoop so much debris.
Easy on the man, he's got the right idea..just needs a push :)

I towed several cars now, and JKMotorsports towed my truck a while back...i did have rubbing issues on the upper control arm over big long hwy bumps at 60mph before buying a Spohn PH bar. I was traveling 200miles tho, 5miles aint nothin for ya. If you're really worried about it, just get a Spohn...
