    05 Tahoe EBCM

Feeling with the T25 I tried on mine, they feel so round that they dont even feel like a torx at all anymore. Not sure which shape I have, but once it's off I plan on finding one with the exact number whether its online or at a junkyard in person.

    05 Tahoe EBCM

Yeah but I'm going to be taking the ABS module and EBCM out to replace the EBCM. I could just put fittings on the master cylinder where the lines go to the proportironing valves.

    05 Tahoe EBCM

Question for here real quick. What's the best method for stopping fluid flow from the master cylinder when removing the abs pump? My EBCM screws are totally rounded. If I empty the system will I need to bench bleed the master cylinder even if I don't press the brake pedal with it empty at all...

    Headlight Burning

The cause of the fast blinker was the marker light, put halogens for that in andit's fine. As for the headlight burning I'm just going to keep my LEDS in there as it wasn't causing the fast turn signal.

    Headlight Burning

Yeah I'll try putting halogen marker bulbs in. Its not my DRL because I have the fuse for those disconnected because I dont like the way they look.

    Headlight Burning

Probably tbh. I also just remembered the light right next to the turn signal bulb is also led, and I wonder if that would have anything to do with it?

    Headlight Burning

I believe that the LED lights have less resistance than a halogen, I think the That's true, it's weird. It was flashing normally until the headlights were installed though.

    Headlight Burning

Definitely the main headlight, not the DRL. There was some electrical tape right by the connector for the light on the harness. I may start trying to track stuff down and I'll also try using a brand new bulb instead of the old ones.

    Headlight Burning

Hello, I'm having this issue with my 05 tahoe. I've had LED headlights in for months now and decided to throw halogens back in for now to get rid of the fast turn signal relay click because I'm too lazy to put resistors or an LED relay. Every bulb I put in the drivers side gets hot and burns...

    Sunroof Tilt Trouble

what clips are you talking about exactly, for the headliner? And I guess I only need to look at the plastic for the tilt, because it slides back and forth just fine.

    Sunroof Tilt Trouble

Hi, this has been a problem with my Tahoe for a while. The tilt on the sunroof does not work 99.9% of the time. It goes to close all the way and then gets stuck when it goes to tilt up to close. Eventually I can get it to close but it makes a pretty bad snapping sound, like something is bent. It...

    New Impact Wrench

Thanks for the input guys, I actually found this mid torque one for pretty cheap, free battery with purchase too. I'm just concerned for some stubborn stuff it wont quite hold up but I may try it and return it if it doesnt suffice.

    New Impact Wrench

Hi y'all, didn't know where to post this so I'll post this here. I'm in the market for a new impact, my $100 chinese made amazon one isn't cutting it. I'm debating between 2 and I need some opinions here. The first is the Hercules Ultra torque, rated at 1500 ft lbs breakaway torque, $300ish for...

    loose steering

Also got this fixed too, removed the steering shafts out and hammered on it. It went right back in and slides back and forth as it should!

    loose steering

I got mine out, took me around 6 hours total of going back and forth to it. Required 2 pitman arm tools because the first broke. What ended up getting it out was cutting into the pitman arm and stopping right before I would hit the splines of the gear box. I did v shaped overlapping cuts in 2...

    loose steering

Hi so I'm replacing the pitman and idler arms today. However when taking the lower steering shaft off the gear box the intermediate shaft slid out a bit. It's still connected to the steering wheel. I've tried for an hour to line it up and push it all the way back in but it's not going anywhere...

    Electric Cooling Fans

The stock fan wiring has 3 relays, which is what I'm doing. All I'm doing is manually cutting or giving the circuit ground which is exactly what the PCM used to do at one point.
