    Minimal lowering question

I'm thinking and want to lower, but just 1 inch in front and 2 inches in the rear. Is that a waste of time? I don't want a slammed thug life look, but a performance/stock ride. Would drop spindles in front and lowering springs be the best way to go for a smooth ride? Any opinions?

Nice....but it sounds like you clayed the the sections as you washed the suv? That's I guess a way to compared to washing 1st then claying then rinse....

    Clay Bar Question

I clayed my civic years ago and it was the first time using clay. I am anal about cleanliness and washing residue off anything, even dish soap off dishes that I hand wash...shampoo when showering.....what I did is have a hose next to me and after I do a small/medium size section, I ran water on...

    Shudder at light throttle

I've read reviews where people use this on brand new cars as insurance for transmission longevity....in other words, it's good to add this weather or not to help a transmission fix or just to fortify the fluid....It helped in my case...good luck...

    Shudder at light throttle

Its only 10ounces not a quart. Full synthetic, compatible with Dexon VI, which our suv takes. I used the whole bottle. My downshifting became smoother and quicker. When feathering accelerator, it used to shudder when bogging....now it downshifts and kicks up rpm to eliminate the bog/shudder...

    Shudder at light throttle

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but in between the first shudder dose and the second dose, I put Lubeguard synthetic transmission additive. http://www.lubegard.com/~/C-113/LUBEGARD+Platinum+High+Performance+ATF+Protectant this maybe worked along side the shudder fix to help me out with mine.

    Shudder at light throttle

Keep driving...it should get better and better....people actually put this stuff on their brand new cars because they liked how well it worked on their cars before.

    Shudder at light throttle

May be a second dose is needed if you already haven't done so...also power wash your brake rotors with brake clean and a high pressure hose right after, you would be surprised how much drag brakes have.

Has anyone heard of or have a Pedal Commander

This Pedal Commander is a pedal sensor which replaces the stock pedal sensor and claims to take away the delay of the throttle response of the stock sensor. It also has the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the pedal response to suit your need of response, from Eco mode, City driving, sport...

    Shudder at light throttle

Awsome.....but you won't experience rough idle from my experience, maybe a worse shudder here and there, but give it till overnight, and you will see a much better improvement. Remember, I put 2 (2ounce tubes) but maybe should have been more patient and let just 1 tube work it's way around. If...

Did the LS7 throttle body help performance? Why did you swap it out for the LS7.... What are the pros and cons?

    Shudder at light throttle

My concern for the brakes is that the brakes pulsate when braking....Im guessing they are warped. I have not taken the wheels off, but they pulsate when braking, and also the rears stick a bit. The pads seem to be grabbing....I don't know how long ago they have been replaced, I did buy it from a...

    Shudder at light throttle

Yes, running strong...I felt some rough cruising....but not shudder....I repeated with brake clean on rear disc brakes at the car wash, then immediately rinsed with high pressure hose.... Tahoe seems to be running strong now again but no shudder. The doctor tranny is a good additive anyway with...

    Shudder at light throttle

My sister in law has a 2008 Tahoe and she says her Tahoe has hesitation when slowing down for a red light then light turns green before stopping and when she accelerates it has a chuggle like hesitation....I'm thinking maybe since these Tahoes are so heavy to eliminate this, the acceleration...

    Shudder at light throttle

I took my MSD wires because I read that they're not good for electronic fuel-injected engines I went back to the AC Delco s and made sure all the spark plugs are tight and man what a difference Tahoe accelerates so crisp and smooth right now.

    Shudder at light throttle

Drove about an hour today, and feeling good about how well it drives. Anyone who thinks it's a torque converter shudder should check for brakes that drag and either find a way to adjust or replace them and try Dr Tranny shudder fix. I used 2 2ounce tubes. I'll report back if I feel any...
