When I bought it 2 months ago... It already had a trans cooler in it....maybe wrong transmission fluid? I have tried 92 ethanol free octane. But I'll try it again to see if it still shudders.- Vegasmarc21

Okay guys, just called my father in law who races Top Dragster dials in at 6.40ish.... Just let me no that you guys were right.....1/4 mile time calculates The 1/4 regardless of reaction time... So when it starts to shudder, lightly tap the brake, and shudder will stop? As in just for that one shudder? Or stop the shudder for a significant period of time until a valve sticks or something?- Vegasmarc21

Let me explain it this way if you're just looking if a tune does any good to a stock tune and you throw away human error of let's say reaction time, that's all I'm looking at is how fast did the stock tune get in a quarter mile versus how much the tuned engine get. So if my reaction time is .000 seconds and I get a 1/4 mile time of 17.00 on a stock tune and then I get a reaction time of 1.000 second on a BB Tune and 1/4 mile time is on BB Tune is 17.869 do you consider the stock tune to be .869 seconds faster? If you do then...lol- Vegasmarc21

All I'm saying is that video, whoever made it, was bragging about how much of a difference was made in quarter mile speeds. I completely agree that a tune is all it is, it's not a supercharger, its more of drivability and things like better shifting and throttle response etc....and some hp gains...- Vegasmarc21

First of all this video states that there's a .495 second quarter mile difference versus stock. Lowering & Vibration issues
That's what I'm thinking since my father in law is a mechanic and told me my drive shaft angle is off, and that's why is vibrates...and I want to lower my as well.....I'm thinking it could help...heck the vibration is there now, changing it may just help?- Vegasmarc21

When you say "it must be disabled in tow/haul mode" are stating it is disabled in tow/haul mode? Or are you presuming it is disabled in tow/haul mode since I don't get the shudder in tow/haul mode?- Vegasmarc21

Well after driving around for TWO hours around town, here is the result. 1st hour (approximately) no shudder. Transmission temp was as high as 180 degrees (usually 160ish degrees starts shuddering) was happy....so happy I bought the Lubeguard trans additive, came home and poured it in.... Very good check list....you sound like a very thorough person. No I didn't check the ngk iridium's for .40 gap like I should have (I assumed ngk's are usually spot on) I'm concerned about the cylinder 8 plug because it is so hard to reach and may have not tighted it correctly) checked u joints...- Vegasmarc21

Well I bought the Lubeguard Tc shudder fix from auto zone today while I was talking to a customer service lady from Lubeguard 800 customer service ( thank God she was in the USA) who was very knowledgeable about transmission shudders.
