Update... I needed to tow again the next week and I was uncomfortable waiting for a cooler. I installed the only one I could get. Not anything as good as the Tru-Cool but it kept me below 180 rather than around 220. If I have to go back and replace with the Tru-Cool it will be easPictures...
I wish I got those... I purchased these and the lows are really bad. High beams are pretty good.

I was towing a camper this week. We went approx 90 miles. Highway driving @65-70 mph. Not crazy elevation but a lot of up and down hills.

Smells normal, still red but a little dark. I’m not sure what I’m looking for but it looked free of debris. One spec that I saw may have been dirt that I transferred .
I’ll look again in the bright sun tomorrow. Hints on what the bad crud looks like?

I'll do the other fluids but I'd rather not mess with the Trans. What would I tell a transmission shop to do. Just tell them to "drop the pan and replace the filter"?
Should I go to my local garage mechanic or a Trans Shop? What is a reasonable charge to do this?

Thanks for the responses. I originally Loki g for 4 wheel drive. I mainly drive “on the road” so the awd should be helpful with rain snow and towing. Seems like it is helpful. Since the truck is old I wasn’t sure if and how the technology worked.
I’m looking for a good explanation of how this awd works. How is it better than rear wheel drive? Is it a good system in the rain and snow? Is there an advantage over 2wd on dry roads?
I have the awd just don’t know if and how it helps me.
Thanks
I don’t have records for my Yukon Denali 6.0 2004. It 170k Should I change the plugs and wires? No perceived problems but I wondered if it was prudent to do it since I don’t know their condition. If so, what plugs and wires are best? Thanks
i’ve had my 2004 Yukon Denali 6.0 all wheel drive since March. It has 170k with limited records available There have been a few things to take care of along the way. I’ve had it long enough that it feels like mine now, if you know what I mean. How often would you change the oil? Would you...
Down the line I plan to install a new head unit. But they are a bit pricey In the mean time I’m looking for something inexpensive that I can simply plug my iPhone into the radio to hear tunes from my iPhone I was thinking physical plug because I thought it may be cheaper and I haven’t...
I’m sorry but there was not a secret . Maybe it was easier because I already determined they were “toast” I pried from simultaneous points at the same time
05Single, I’ll look into this in the future. Purchased Purde replacements and installed them. They were cheap and you get what you pay for. Much better than the stock with the bad reflectors but a lot off shadows.
I will keep my stock lights and look into the new bowls and retrofit.
