Thanks for reply. I have been under it and checked linkage to transmission and all looks good. Was even able to move lever by hand smoothly. I will pull steering cover off again and check detent spring. Any more detail on it? When it happened I had put it in reverse sat for second without...- Lwtx

2003 Tahoe Won't shift into park
All of a sudden the shifter on 2003 Tahoe will not go into park. Shifter lever stops solid as if hitting something. Goes into reverse, neutral, drive and lower gears fine and trans shifts good going down road. Checked cable condition from shifter arm to transmission connection. Great shape no...- Lwtx
