This is about as tight fitting as you'll find. Actually there is only one other bumper I've seen for GMC and a couple others for Chevy's and they're all massive. It sticks out about an inch from the headlights. Overall it's about the same overall extension as the stock bumper cover, but much...
We have a Yukon and Tahoe Specific winch bumper now. I was on the same road forever and consider a front clip swap for a while, but ended up modifying a Sierra bumper and then got them to agree to manufacture one specifically for the SUVs. baselineoverland.com
I saw your reply on another thread, but thought it might be helpful for others here. This particular generation has been so poorly underserved. I hunted forever and I've been bombarded with requests for a Chevy Tahoe/ Suburban specific bumpers. Chassis Unlimited agreed to put it into production...
Are you interested in a new off-road style bumper or just a bull bar? Chassis Unlimited is putting a Tahoe/ Suburban/ Avalanche specific model into production for us, and we're currently taking pre-orders at baselineoverland.com There is also an option to add a Bull Bar/Stinger/Brush Guard...
Hey Good news! I've been bombarded with requests for a Chevy Tahoe/ Suburban specific bumper and Chassis Unlimited agreed to put it into production if we sell them. I just put them up for pre-order this afternoon and we're rolling! baselineoverland.com As for modifying a Silverado bumper it's...
This is my set up. I am pleased with it. I previously had a suspension maxx kit on it that retained the autoride and magneride. it was fine, but my stock shocks and struts were quite old and I decided to go this route rather than replace with stock.

I am letting them sort it out. I was just hoping someone here has run into this since they can’t seem to figure it out. I’ve probably taken it back a dozen times.
2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali 6L80
Transmission replaced with remanufactured unit last year. Manual shift mode has not worked ever since. I've had it back in the shop regularly to trouble shoot, pick up on the weekend, take it back. According to the shop: the shift buttons signal registers, but...
Mine is currently loos at the bottom. I have clamped some stops behind the lower portion to keep it pushed forward, but I'm thinking some Trim-lok w/ an adhesive backing that can stick on top of the bumper and let the grill slip down in it so I don't have to put holes in anything.
Old post, but if someone is searching as I was forever - I've seen the RC mentioned in a previous post work in a Tahoe/ Suburban, Should work in the Yukon, but might need some modification?
There is a good winch bumper option now for Yukons here...
Here's my jack set up.
I used a unijack on the spare battery tray with a quick fist ratchet strap bolted to the tray with lock nuts. The round part of the bottle jack sits nicely in the cradle and holds it level. The strap loops around the whole thing and you just crank it down. The top of...
Thanks for the reply. I've thought about the manual swap, but I wasn't sure if the traction control would freak out or what other can of worms I would get into. I would need to figure out the Bose stuff that's built into the console, but that's not the end of the world. I've also seen some low...
I know this is an old thread and my situation is a little different, but hoping someone knows the answers. I have a Denali (AWD) and want to swap to a 2 speed transfer case. I'm REALLY hoping GM used the same wiring harness in the Denali and just left the wires taped up behind the dash (there is...
Same question. Did you ever figure this out? I'm hoping GM used the same wiring harness in the Denali and just left the wires taped up behind the dash. Trying to find out if anyone has ever done this. I'm mainly interested because I want two speed transfer case, but selectable 4wd/ 2wd is also a...
