    Installed a new phone mount. So far it works pretty good. Maybe a little lower than I would like, but I could do a few things to add to it. I used a hole in the passenger seat frame and also bolted a clamp onto the console to position and hold it more steady...

    front wheel hub bearing question (when to replace)

    I don't know if I would do the trans, but wouldn't be a bad idea. I try to do things while doing something else...ie...The belt if they have to have it off, the power steering pump and what not. I live in Fl and the trans could be a thought.

    Doing a bit of work on my dash this week. Got the new dashskin on today and also my new LED's for my cluster. Got more planned for sure. Hopefully most of it will be done by Saturday. After that, just the seat recover and paint. Then just wheels and tires.

    If you are so concerned about it, why not just go ahead and change them now? Any time I start to worry about a part that I think may be near the end of life I would just change it. But that's me. Not everyone changes parts before they break.

    Gauge cluster repair

    Thinking about getting a new gauge cluster. I think the back of it is damaged. I can't get 3 of the lights to work. Has anyone changed the electrical pad or whatever you call it? Or should I just get a whole cluster? And if anyone has a good one lying around and feel like donating it, let me know.

    Always loved the Yukon GT's. I would have gotten something along these lines when I got mine, but it was impossible to find one within reasonable distance in my price range. Yours is a beauty for sure.

    Like a window sticker? I know I have gotten a window sticker for a 2014 Challenger and a 2014 GMC Sierra online, but I am not sure if they go that far back. And I am not sure if there is a build sheet anywhere in these. You could contact GM customer service to see if they can help you out.

    All you can do is keep calling. Maybe companies aren't doing them anymore unless the vehicle is some type of collectible or classic. I have been out of the game for about 10 years so things may have changed. Plus I live in Florida so things may be different in your state.

    I think you can get a ACV policy with just about any of the major companies. I had one with Progressive. I used to sell insurance for Allstate and State Farm. They both offered them but you had to call for an actual quote. That was about 10 years ago so I can't really say for this time period.

    New windshield today. Started to delaminate so I figured why not. It was free with my insurance. In Florida, if you carry comprehensive insurance, you can get unlimited windshields. Pretty awesome. And Safelite did a great job and came to my home.

    Go to Kelly Blue Book and check the value. Then find some that are comparable in condition and mileage to yours and print out the ads. Show them to the insurance company since that what it will cost to replace your vehicle. That may help you some. Also, a lot will depend on who your insurance is...

    Got my estimate yesterday. Quoted me $1200 plus paint and materials. Brought the total to $1600ish. Not too bad, but that wouldn't include the top of the doors or fenders. They wanted $7000 to do the entire truck. I am going to hold off for now, but when I do something it will just be the roof...

    Sorry I am not able to help you out with this issue, but those are going to look great on there. Love the style.....and that price??? Wow. Did you get them on yet? Any new pics? I will be doing wheels and tires next year sometime.
